Went for lunch today (1/27/24) Great food!! Must check out all the delicious bakery items for sale on your way in lots to choose from!! Breakfast was good portions very filling!! Highly Recommend the Eggs Benedict, my wife enjoyed her “Make Your Own Omelet” and I had the “All American Breakfast” again Great food, Excellent Service!! Definitely returning soon to try more breakfast dishes!! Highly recommend Harvest Cafe & Bakery.

Yes, believe the hype! Always heard great things about this establishment and wasn’t disappointed when I went to meet up with a friend. The ambience is like a cafe in a city, but it’s located in a small plaza in Simsbury. Food was excellent and they didn’t rush us to leave. Very generous about refilling coffee. Definitely going to go again and again.

The regular menu is full of excellent comfort foods. The specials are amazing, and often have an interesting culinary twist. I have enjoyed everything I have eaten at Harvest. The staff, especially Scott, is friendly, efficient, and enthusiastic. Ever since we moved out of CT, we make it a point to stop at Harvest at least once per visit!

A great breakfast and lunch spot, with amazing, pastries, and breads. We had breakfast and chatted for a bit and once we were done, I purchased Irish soda bread, and some delicious scones to take home.

You will never be disappointed here

Best corned beef hash I've ever had. Best savory strata I've ever had. One of the best pieces of quiche Lorraine and Belgian waffles I've ever had. We live in the Midwest and we might have to make a special trip to try this place again. Down to earth vibe, great service.

Such a pleasant discovery! Harvest Cafe and Bakery has an extensive menu with many wonderful choices. Due to the post Thanksgiving weekend we had a bit of a wait for a table, and then our food. However, it was most definitely worth the wait 😋

Absolutely amazing! Super great breakfast, and they even have "shredded potatoes" (i.e. hashbrowns, back where I'm originally from). The food was great, and my wife and I had a great conversation with the owner on our way out. She was super nice and the baked goods looked fantastic. (We didn't get any sweets, but I'm likely going to be going back and getting some in the future... especially the take-and-bake style cookies.)

My family and I were looking for a local breakfast spot when we found Harvest Cafe. I’m so glad we found them! The atmosphere is cozy and a total locals must-go spot. The quiche was amazing and the desserts were so rich and tasty! We will definitely be back to grab the macaroons soon!

There is not enough words to describe this little gem. This is hands down one of the best places I have ever eaten. Everything I have tried here is delicious. This is a great spot for a wonderful breakfast. I am never, ever disappointed when I eat here.

My 2nd time here and I’ll definitely always return! The staff are so nice and very welcoming. I like my eggs a certain way and I told Scott to make sure the yoke is broken and cooked all the way through and they got it right the first time! I always have to send my eggs back but they were cooked perfectly. The bakery items they have are also delicious!

Absolutely loved our experience took our mama out for breakfast, banana bread French toast is to die for and the service is so wonderful with unlimited coffee! Belgian Waffles with fresh fruit and hash was pretty darn good too!! Thank you Christine or Kristine for the sunflower 🌻 cookie made my day I appreciate you so much!! -sunflower girl

The food was delicious! I had the 1/2 chicken salad sandwich on fresh whole wheat. The chicken was peppery which complimented the halved grapes for a heavenly sandwich. My dining partner had the pork belly Benedict with home fries. Nice to taste delightfully seasoned potatoes for a change from the standard blah potatoes being served in other restaurants. The pork belly was perfectly cooked as everything else on the plate. We did not go home hungry as the portion sizes were very generous. My only complaint was how cold it was in the restaurant, other than that the staff was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend trying this place out.

This place is FAN-TABULOUS!

My go-to is the Farmers Benedict. Who would have thought to place a Benedict over shredded potatoes? By the way, those shredded potatoes give me life! Oh & the service is beyond excellent. The 2 times I have gone, I was lucky to have the same gentleman take care of us. I didn't catch his name, but he reminds me of Hugh Jackman. He is super personable and has great energy! Harvest Cafe & Bakery is truly a Simsbury gem, I can't wait to go back!

My partner and I come here every Saturday, we have been doing so since probably Fall 2018. We love the food, the variety of specials options, the staff, everything they offer is fantastic. This morning I ordered their special breakfast bowl, which was a generous slice of grilled cornbread topped with their fabulous bbq beef with onions, and scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese. They offer this every few months and its my absolute favorite bowl. Its like southern comfort food for breakfast, everything I want on a Saturday morning!! I also had a carrot zucchini nut muffin which was 👌🏼
I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a casual and welcoming breakfast place!

We were seated almost immediately despite arriving at noon on a Saturday. Bottomless coffee and tea AND the Boston Globe make this great for a lazy Sunday morning. The grilled cornbread on the western was delicious and not too sweet, an easy trap to fall into with cornbread! Their wheat toast was also impressive and tasted homemade.

Their bread products were so good we splurged on dessert, a carrot cupcake. The frosting was buttery and smooth without being greasy, and had a marshmallow-like lightness to it. Again, great job not being overly sweet and letting some of the savory aspects of the carrot and spice come through!

I LOVE this place♥ Food is as great as people here. I really felt that there is no such thing "wars" if all people on the Earth could behave like workers here, who are so supportive/kind to local people and visitors.

Came for the quiche and was not disappointed. The coffee was good too, and the service was cheerful and prompt. The quiche was just as delicious as all the other reviews said, probably the best I've ever had at a restaurant!

Not a usual American resturant.
GREAT service, tasty food (omelette is made to perfection), coffee keeps flowing, atmosphere is a blast.

Best Eggs Benedict Ever.
"Bunkbeds Benedict" with chicken and spicy chipotle hollandaise sauce was off the chart. All of this atop shredded hash browns was to die for. Great counter service with super friendly staff and super fast kitchen.

The farmers Benedict was one of the best breakfast dishes I’ve had in a while! Loved getting to try this local place on my vacation.
