Paul S. Collins General Contractor

We worked with Paul Collins General Contractor from January 2023 to early March 2023 on a kitchen renovation. Paul was communicative and easy to talk to. His ability to problem-solve was extremely valuable. The teams he brought in to do tile and paint work were high quality. In terms of criticism, we experienced plumbing issues towards the end of the project and continue to have them. We live in an old home so it's impossible to really know where the issue lies. Meanwhile, the electricians were not customer-oriented, made us feel uncomfortable in our own home and the outlets in our appliance garage began sparking after half a year so our toaster oven and microwave have been back in the basement over the holidays while we wait to get someone in to look at it. OVERALL: We really enjoyed working with Paul. Most of the quality is top notch but it felt like electric and plumbing just wanted to be done and hurried towards the end.

Hired Paul Collins to cover our patio and lay a second patio. I thought I was hiring a professional, this is what we got. Didn't stand by his work. Terrible experience. Beware when hiring him. Ask for referrals. I didn't , my mistake.

I called to get an estimate on the finishing of my attic. Two weeks later Paul called and set an appt. to come to our home and give me an estimate. I cleared my time after work for our appt. at 5:00 p.m. on the date he had available. Waited until 5:30 p.m. after no one showed up, called and left a message at that time and never heard another word from him again! Run!!! Not dependable!!
