My husband & I used Ginger Babies Catering for our wedding at Historic Ashland in May of 2022 with 130 wedding guests. Joe and his entire staff provided exceptional, kind service and the food was presented extremely well and tasted amazing! Joe assisted us with creating a custom package & menu that fit our budget and vision for such a large guest count and was happy to provide recommendations on the menu based on the season of our wedding. We kept with a simple cocktail hour spread and for dinner did chicken, pasta, and various sides. Joe was also happy to accommodate various food allergies for our wedding guests which was SO helpful! The only thing that was a little tricky was communication as it took a little longer to get a response to an email, but Joe always responded or called to work through whatever questions we had. I would certainly recommend Ginger Babies Catering to everyone for any event, but especially for a wedding!

Joe and GingerBabies did a fabulous job having to create an event at the last minute for a celebration of life. They were so accommodating to every need we had. The food was delicious, our server Timothy was wonderful. I highly recommend Joe Reed and GingerBabies for any event.

Ginger Babies catered our daughter's wedding and the food and service were fabulous! Joe was so easy to work with, providing endless menu options at a very reasonable cost. On the day of the wedding he and his staff checked in with us periodically to make sure everything was satisfactory and we received many compliments from our guests about how delicious the food was. The chefs, servers and bartenders were so friendly and professional and they all went above and beyond our expectations to help make it a wonderful evening. Thanks Joe and company!

I really liked working with this company. I have never ordered catering before. They had the best menu selections of all the companies I surveyed, and helped to guide me as I planned my event. There were no surprises, and my guests loved the food. It was a generous amount, so we got to bring some home. The staff were meticulous in how they set up the tables, making sure everything was where I wanted it. The linens were a lovely color, and the whole set-up looked very nice. The venue I rented recommended Ginger Babies, and I'm glad we went with them. They helped make our party very successful! I can highly recommend!

We recently used GingerBabies for our wedding - we couldn’t be more happy with our choice! Joe and his team were great to work with throughout our pandemic rescheduled process. The staff that worked our wedding were nice, helpful and pleasant. The food was so delicious. We’ve heard from several of our guests how pleased they were with the food and the personable staff they came into contact with. I used Ginger Babies to cater my wedding, and I had an excellent experience. Joe was very nice and everything was perfect for the wedding. I highly recommend the tortellini with the asparagus cream sauce. It's the best pasta sauce I've ever had, and I think my guests appreciated the uniqueness of it (or at least unique to me; I'd never heard of asparagus pasta sauce until then). The mashed potatoes are also pretty bomb.

Advent Lutheran Church Leisure Group had Ginger Babies cater our Christmas dinner this year (2019). We ordered a full course turkey dinner buffet. The caterer arrived on time set everything up with beautiful buffet servers. The turkey buffet could NOT have been better. Great food good and hot. Yes we had a great meal, every member was well pleased. The price was very good and all members voted after the meal to have GINGER BABIES
back next again December!

My Wife and I couldn't be happier with our choice of caterer for our wedding a few weeks ago. Joe and the staff at Ginger Babies went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was the best that it could possibly be. Joe worked with us personally to work out a menu to fit all of our guests varied dietary needs. The food was delicious and fresh (chicken was grilled on site!), perfect for an early summer wedding. Our guests raved about the food. We chose the buffet style and the staff graciously packaged up the leftovers for us to take home, which was an unexpected bonus! Joe was easily accessible throughout the entire wedding planning process and was extremely accommodating to all of our needs. We would recommend to anyone looking for a caterer in the York, PA area!

Ginger Babies catered our company affair today. In a post-Covid world it is hard to find catering companies that make high quality individual boxed lunches for hundreds of people. The food was fabulous! The service was excellent and you couldn't have a nicer group of guys to serve up the box lunches with big smiles and lots of laughs. Once again, the food made the party and Ginger Babies served it up in style. Thank you!

If we could give higher than five stars, we would for Joe and GingerBabies! We can't overstate just how glad we are we found Joe, from the delicious food to his energy and excitement and everything in between! Joe saved us after the caterer we had initially booked for our wedding declared bankruptcy. He was so accommodating and made the planning process, on a shortened timeline, so easy! Joe was willing to play with new foods to match our menu and it ended up tasting even better than our first caterer! On the day of, Joe and his team were so helpful with setting up our venue and making the night flow seamlessly, we can't imagine the day without him!

We used Ginger Babies for our wedding and were incredibly pleased. The team was amazing from start to finish and not to mention, the food was so delicious. My wife and I were treated like celebrities and our guest were kings and queens. I would recommend​ this catering company to anyone!

Wow, where to start?! Joe & his team are absolutely AMAZING! We used Gingerbabies for our wedding and everything went perfect. Leading up to the wedding I was in communication with Joe via phone and email (although for a while I thought he wasn’t responding because his emails were going into my spam folder! Once we realized this all was great!).

Joe worked with me diligently to create the unique menu I was looking for to “wow” our guests. All throughout the wedding day and since then we’ve received numerous complements on how amazing the food was and how great the catering staff treated everyone.

I must also give a shout out to Joe’s entire staff the day of our wedding. They checked in with me a few times throughout the night just to make sure I was happy with everything or if I needing anything. At the end of the night they REALLY went above and beyond and helped my family to pack up the cars with decor/gifts/etc. Hearing about this the next day really “wow’d” me and has me only ever considering Gingerbabies for any future catering needs.

The cherry on top was that at the end of the breakfast buffet for dinner they boxed up the leftovers for us to take with us!!! I have never heard of another catering company doing this free of charge...we were able to feed our whole family the next morning for breakfast!

I really feel that Joe & his team do everything they can to make your event no matter how big or small go BETTER than your expectations. I am very impressed and hope to see them continue to grow!

Blue cheese encrusted tenderloin for the win! Ginger babies catered our wedding and everything was delicious. The service staff was amazing and accommodating and really kept things going smoothly. That's no easy task at the venue we chose due to the size and terrain of the place. The swedish meatballs, amazing. The beef, amazing. The chicken, amazing. And DO try some of their desserts. The whoopie pies and parfait cups we're a huuuge hit. Joe was very down to earth the whole time and really kept us at ease throughout the process.

Ginger babies catered our daughter's wedding at Lauxmont farms yesterday. The food was fantastic and Joe & his staff were super friendly and helpful - not unnoticed by many of our guests. A great value, highly recommended.

Professional, kind, hardworking and down right fantastic.
I have to share one of my experiences with you.
When I got married my father had just passed away 7 months before. So my brother did the first dance with me. We did it to a slow, non traditional song sang by Ted Hawkins (one of my dads favorite singers), the song was “Long as I can see the Light”.
As you could imagine it was quite emotional, for everyone is the tent.
But as I was dancing I noticed that all of the staff had stopped working and stopped moving to witness a beautiful moment in my life. They did not have to stop, they did not have to pay attention, but they remained still until the end of the song, and then all clapped at the very end.

You don’t know how much I appreciate that small gesture of reverence in a night that was filled with happiness and joy!

I used GingerBabies Catering for my mom's 60th birthday for the first time thanks to a referral from a close friend. Needless to say it was worth every penny. Not only was everyone impressed with the food but there was a ton of leftovers and the setup and break down was flawless.

Living in South Florida I have access to some of the top restaurants in the country so I was a little hesitant at first but I am extremely impressed with the operation these guys have, the quality of food, and the professionalism. Reasonable price, on time, and the food was great.
