The Sherwood Inn

We had an excellent dinner. The new york strip steak was cooked to perfection. The soups were very tasty as well. Our server was the best. Angelina was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. Can't wait to try the prime rib on my next visit.

Seems like a pretty popular spot, it was pretty full when we got there. Service was pretty good, didn't have to wait too long for drinks. Ordered chili and cream of crab, both were good. Then i ordered 9oz new strip w baked potato and asparagus and gf ordered jacked up burger. Steak was pretty good, the temperature was PERFECT. My only complaint about this place is that it can be a little loud at times, but that's normal for a popular restaurant. Would definitely recommend and we will be back

The Inn offers both great and differing atmosphere, depending upon whether you’re sitting inside or on the outside deck. We were on the deck. The service was fantastic. Renee was very attentive and helpful. The drinks were wonderful. We enjoyed all three types of crushes — orange, grapefruit and watermelon. The Totchos were a perfect app. And the Rockfish Tacos and Greek Salad were fantastic. To finish and to celebrate my wife’s birthday, we enjoy a decadent, house made, peanut butter pie. I offer my highest recommendation!

Been going here for 15+ years. Never had a bad meal everything is great! My favorite is the Hawaiian chicken wrap

Not just a bar! The reconstruction makes everything look sharp. The outside seating is excellent. Everything is clean. The prices are good and the food is excellent. Definitely worth the visit if you haven't been since the renovation! Also, get some of those homemade chips!!!

Great owners usally there, always a good thing. Great basic bar food. Good beer choices. Small and cozy. Can get crowded. Fresh Orange/Grapefruit crushes (get a double).

Friendly atmosphere, yummy appetizers... got cheese curds, they were premade but similar (just about the same) to the real ones you get in Wisconsin, ribeye was very good... cooked the way it was supposed to be. Other persons in party had also enjoyed their meals. Waitress was attentive and tolerant to our demanding requests.

Since the 1st time we started coming to the Sherwood the staff and customers are so friendly. The food is delicious and the drinks just the same. Both inside and out on the patio is a nice atmosphere.

Wonderful bar experience. Something for everyone. Very nice deck for those that enjoy the outdoor experience. Numerous options on the food menu. The steamed shrimp are always phenomenal. Friendly staff also!

I must say I thought the food was delicious! The service was good as well. It was a slamming busy that night. I think that the owners need to find a place where people can wait for a table. There was limited standing room. Remodel so there's more room in the establishment. It is definitely the place to dine at!

Has all the vibes of a local bar. We got there shortly before the Monday happy hour where burgers are BOGO. The burger had a great char taste. We will definitely go again.

Food is always great. The Bartender is on top of her game.

We stopped in for a quick bite and one margarita! Ended up there for 3 hours chatting with the regulars and having a great time! My husband is playing there on May 21st, be sure to stop out!

What a hidden gem. A self proclaimed redneck bar with fantastic service, excellent food, and a fun atmosphere. (I'm far from a red neck and I felt 100% welcome, for what it's worth). I live in Carlisle and make the drive because I love this bar so much.

Trivia on Thursdays is a riot, bring friends and have a good time. Burgers, wraps, soups, wings - all phenomenal.

The only "complaint" I can come up with is I wish that had more local beers available, but it's not really that kind of bar and I recognize that.
