The atmosphere doesn't look like it's changed since the 80's or 90's and it's a fully smoking establishment, so no one under 21 is allowed in. But if you want fantastic food at rock bottom prices, this is your place to go!! Great food, friendly service, incredible prices! You can't beat it!! Bar drinks are cheap too!

Love this place! Steak dinner plus 2 sides for less than $10.. and it's actually good! This would be the only reason I'd stay in York

My boyfriend & I stopped in to grab a bite to eat for dinner. He had ordered a roast beef sandwich, well it was not good, him nor I liked it. "but don't let me fool you" we go about once a week & that was THE VERY FIRST TIME we got a food item & it wasn't good. Our waitress was very nice & let him order something else & was kind enough to switch the sandwiches out. It was a nice visit tho, as always:)

Absolutely wonderful. My server was super friendly, prices were completely unbelievable, in the good way. Great value. Great experience. I ordered 3 meals and dessert to go because I cant beat the price anywhere else. But will probably go back tomorrow because of the service.

If you know you know! If you don't you need to!!! Great selection of regular menu items and daily specials including steaks, chicken, seafoods, soups, desserts, sides all homemade food, my favorite salad bar and the drink prices unbeatable. Must try. (If you don't like smoking this will noy be yr place for you)

The best place to go in York !!!! From the amazing food to the very reasonable prices for everything. If you leave this place hungry, there’s something wrong !!! You get tons of food for what you pay. It is a smoking bar and that’s rare these days. You need a Pennsylvania license to be served alcohol. Doesn’t affect me obviously since I’m from PA. Never asked why out of state people can’t be served alcohol but, it’s not my establishment either. The steak and scallops are beyond amazing !!! One side of fries is enough for like 2-3 people, very large servings

Great little hidden gem in York. Very inexpensive menu! Good food. Smoking bar, which is great for some, may be a turnoff for others, but it's nice that places like this still exist. The place looks like it hasn't changed in 50 years, which is fine by me. Good food, good drinks, friendly service. Full support for independent old time joints like Jackie Bs!

We travel from Harrisburg at least twice a month to eat at Jackie B's.

Quaint old restaurant where you can still eat out for a reasonable price. The portions are good but not oversized, and you end up throwing the moldy takeout box from the back of your fridge weeks later. They make well with the quality of the portions with their prices and style of cooking. The restaurant allows smoking, which does not bother me, but is a factor to consider if you decide to dine in. There is also only one stall per each gendered bathroom, which I imagine might be a pain during busier hours. Still well worth a visit though.
