Crown Cafe

My husband and I dropped by for a spontaneous date. The restaurant is very relaxed and welcoming. Food was incredible. I had a Rueben sandwich and it was spectacular. Their pastries were as so top notch. Service was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place for casual dates.

My sister and I chose this cafe as a meeting point between us. The food was delicious and the coffee was great too. It has a wonderful peaceful atmosphere. I would go there again for sure.

Some of the best coffee I have ever had. Excellent breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Amazing vintage vibe. You can tell how great this place is before even ordering because the whole front of the cafe is packed with locals. If I could give this place 10 stars I would.

Quite possibly the best breakfast spot in the North End. Fresh Meats are as fresh as they come as well, and very fairly priced.

Stopped in for breakfast this morning after church and the coffee was hot and good and the food was delicious. Great addition to the neighborhood!

My husband and I love to have breakfast here on Sundays! A few months back, we brought our dogs with us. Today, Picorello took advantage while a moving is going on in our house to check out the menu on his own😳😂. The owner called me to let me know he was there and I can’t be more grateful!

Great sandwiches and great people. I had the Mafia and it took two days to consume it! The meat in the meat displays looked great and of great quality. The prices were wonderful and they do custom orders, so I will get my meat here from now on.

What a great new place to eat and shop. Bringing back memories of my youth when my grandma lived down the street and it was the Crown Budget Market. My mom shopped there all the time. To see that it is being reopened by the same family brought tears to my eyes. Great sandwich and great atmosphere. Feels like your down on Arthur Ave. The bread and pastry is from there as well. Highly recommended.

Great atmosphere, great owners. What an incredible transformation to a deli and eatery while still offering the best meats, pork, and fowl. I shopped there as a kid with my parents. I'm glad it's resurrected in it's new form. Bridgeport is better for it.

Awesome place, have gone a few times and this place does not disappoint. This is exactly what we needed in the North End, a nice cafe where you can go meet up with your friends and family and have an awesome breakfast. You can also buy your Meat , Poultry, Fish and Cold Cuts amongst other things.

Finally!! A great place for a quick bite- and more! A breath of fresh variety for breakfast and lunch. Full coffee bar, with knowledgeable barista! Great for take out- would recommend staying and enjoying sandwiches ( my favorite is the house special , overstuffed Rib eye steak !) Relaxing atmosphere, coffee lounge area. Beautiful Boars Head deli counter and fresh meats butcher service. Lots of specialty Italian products, candies, soft drinks. Surprisingly large variety of health drinks / Organic foods. SHU card friendly. A great addition to the neighborhood!

They were a big hit at my picnic. People were commenting about how they had settled and really had forgotten the extreme difference in taste of fresh meat vs chain store meats. There really is a remarkable difference in taste.
And what better way to wait for your home order than with a great cup of coffee and a sandwich, LOL!

Wow! Huge clean store, friendly staff, beautiful cuts of meat, boars head deli, and yummy coffee. Wait there is more... breakfast, lunch, pastries, snacks, and fresh bread. Worth taking a ride there for anyone in Fairfield county. I feel lucky this place is so close to home!
