Tapenade Bistro

Easily the best breakfast I've ever had. I usually go for sweets like pancakes but decided to try something savory my first visit here. So happy I made that decision!

Waited too long to finally have a meal here. Their hours are a bit restricted but if you’re looking for an exquisitely delightful menu they won’t disappoint. The Crab Rangoon was delicious, although I didn’t find the dipping sauce to be in my favor, I think most people would enjoy it. The host suggested a chili sauce which I will definitely do the next time we visit. The food all came quickly, perfectly plated and prepared and the staff were genuinely pleasant. We will definitely be back to try the breakfast soon!

Enjoyed a delicious breakfast with coworkers this morning. This was the caramel pecan french toast and The Omelette special with pepper jack cheese, smoked ham, and spinach. Delicious! I will be back!

Had an early NYE dinner. So delicious! My husband was very impressed with his filet and the scallops were amazing! Thanks to Jamie.....its always a great experience there!

This is the best place to go for breakfast in York. The coffee flavors change daily and are always great. The food is always fresh and the taste reflects it.

Never disappointed. Keep an eye out for special dates, they have awesome Mother’s Day and other events!

I’ve been visiting Tapenade on my visits to York over the past few years. I have yet to order a dish I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. Their flavored coffees are always unique and tasty, plus their service staff makes sure to keep it topped off and hot! I definitely recommend the stuffed French toast or the crepes!

We ordered lunch today and the sandwiches were fantastic. The chocolate cake was phenomenal too. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

What's not to like. Only ever had breakfast here, but it's always great. Small setting, great service and good food.

Loved the tomato soup. I was so full, I took my sandwich home and enjoyed it later.

I picked up some sticky buns and peanut butter pie ! The service was quick and wonderful:) The peanut butter pie and sticky buns were AWESOME! Sometimes they say the special ingredient in food is Love because it is made with thoughtfulness and meaning. These desserts were :)

Only wish they were open more so I could come in more frequently! They have consistently been my favorite lunch spot in York for a long time. Excellent menu, friendly family-run staff, great location. They've been doing a lot of takeout lately, and while the menu did shrink for it I believe, it's still excellent food. Can't wait for the mufaletta to come back!

We were so very happy to find this little jewel of a restaurant for lunch the other day. We've lived in the area for over a year now and we are so sick and tired of wasting our money in local restaurants that serve food that tastes like it comes out of a can, out of a box, or out of the freezer. It's like all south central PA restaurants are required to purchase their food from Sams Club, BJ's or Costco. Tapenade Bistro is absolutely a delectable breath of fresh air. Our lunches tasted as if every single ingredient was fresh and the meals were professionally prepared by well trained cooks or a chef. Food does not get any better or fresher than the meals we were served at Tapenade Bistro. It was also refreshing to see & speak with a woman whom I assume was the owner of this establishment. She spoke with each table of diners and was truly interested in each person's dining experience in her restaurant. Our server was very personable also while maintaining her professionalism. Frankly, having lunch here at the Tapenade Bistro was one of the best dining experiences we've had since moving here to the York area 18 months ago. Kudos to the owner and all of her staff for providing us with such a fabulously prepared meal.

Excellent, fast and knowledgeable staff...very good with substitutions, all fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation (now I wish I took a picture)

The place is wonderful.Delicious food and had this mighty fine gentleman. This one waiter was pretty loud though.

Ate breakfast Friday about 20 minutes after they opened. There were only four people there when we got our food but that doubled shortly afterwards. We shared a appetizer and the regular coffee was terrific. I ordered two banana pecan pancakes and they were so large I couldn't eat them all, so off they went for a next day snack. They were absolutely fantastic and worth every bit of the cost. Now we're going to try lunch.

Have eaten here several times and the food has always been great. Few places like this that offer something other than the generic chain restaurants and family diners. Great when you are in the mood for something different. Place is small so it can get crowded quick. Friendly staff. Clean.

Love having lunch and breakfast at this wonderful spot! You have to get there early as this is a popular spot! I will have to make sure to take some photos next time I am in to share with you! One of my favorites is the Chicken Salad sandwich on croissant. The Tomato Soup is amazing as well. Breakfast is simply amazing!
