I’ve been using this small shop for lawn tractor and snow blower service for years. I’ve always been more than satisfied with Jeff’s work!

Best mechanic around for small engine work .
Never had to return work because it was not done right. 10 years.

I had my mower repaired ( wouldn’t start) and yes it had gas in it... lol. He was very nice and explained to me that it would take about a week to get it back since he had other jobs ahead of me. I believe he is fair in what he charges for repairs. I am very satisfied with the service I recieved.

Owner was helpful, had one of the necessary parts in stock. Little pricey, but he was able to assist with my issues.

Bought a used/rebuilt mower there. I got the price knocked down when I pointed out the engine was not original John Deere (I knew what engine belonged with that model based on prior research). Owner generally not very forthcoming and does not instill confidence in his honesty. His assistant, however, was great. After about 12 hours use, failed to start. I figured "buyer beware" and did YouTube search to find out how to repair, which I did. As part of repair, I needed new gasket, so, went back to Baileys. Asked for slight discount ($1) on the gasket for my trouble, and owner stormed off, accused me of trying to "Jew" him down. I am not Jewish, but was rather taken aback by the language. I got the part for $2 less via Amazon - it was worth the wait just based on principle.

I dropped my mower off to get repaired, told them what i had tried to repair it myself and without looking at it, he diagnosed the problem as a $100 part. I told him that i was ok with the part needed to repair the mower being $100 and to do it. i told him i would be back to pick up my mower in 4 days. when i returned to pick it up, he told me it was a $100 part and asked if i wanted it repaired. I had already told him to repair it with the part and that i needed 4 days later. the mower had not even moved and he had not even looked at it. i took it to friend and he changed the spark plug and thinned out the gas/oil mix and it started right up. i would have been fine getting the expensive part as long as it was done when he said it would be, only to find out it took $6 in materials and got fixed in under 10 minutes by someone else.

Let me just say I have had countless amazing experiences at places I never would've expected. I've also had plenty of terrible experiences. None of them have ever been good enough, or bad enough to prompt me to write a review. This however, is an exception to my normal standards, because this place is SO. VERY. BAD. an easy $110 repair jacked up to $500 without our concent. My father owns an auto part shop and I personally replaced a belt on the mower myself about 3-4 mows ago. He replaced it again and said it was old and needed replaced. Not only that but charged WAY more than ever should happen. I'm so very dissapointed in the service I received. If you are ever ever thinking about going here, I beg you not to.

He charged me 240.00 for a minor repair to my leaf vac. A job that I had done several times, took me 20 minutes, he said it took him 3 hrs. 80 bucks an hour for labor. Don't go to this guy.

Horrible experience!!!!! The dude changes AND raises his repair prices so that he can keep your lawnmower and sell it for himself. I will NEVER visit this shop again. WARNING!!!!!!!
