Clair's Restaurant

We stopped in for our lunch and the food was great! We had the liver and onions, that the liver was so easy to cut with a knife. We also got the broastwd chicken and it was so moist! And we took dessert home to eat. The waitress was amazing. She was friendly and very cheerful and made our visit wonderful. We will come back again!

Great classic diner feel. We were a table of 3 and all ordered different lunch and dinner foods, our food arrived to our table quickly. Our waitress was extremely polite and got us refills without us having to ask, we never once felt ignored. The food was so good we couldn't help but get dessert, their ice cream was the perfect bow on top.

I rated this restaurant very high because it is a one off family restaurant. The four piece chicken dinner was an excellent value for $12.00. So if you're looking for casual and a place you can take the kids without a second mortgage this would be it. The have homemade ice cream and the kids will most likely want a dessert. Might discuss it before going in.

My daughter and I LOVE this restaurant! Been coming here since I was a kid. Their food is delicious and priced accurately. Highly recommend going here and supporting local! (Grilled chicken, tuna melt, salads, burgers, and fries are all incredible! )

I had a wonderful time, the food was fantastic, the atmosphere was very nostalgic for me, the service staff are great, on top of everything, always, the food was served very timely and deliciously prepared and the ice cream was the perfect ending!

This year we ordered the Thanksgiving take-out meal, it was just awesome, the food tasted great and the portion amounts were generous. The place has the best staff you could ask for. Thank you Clair's for taking the time and effort to provide these meals on Thanksgiving day.

I absolutely LOVE this place!! The service is always amazing even when they're super busy. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. It feels like... if your Grammy owned a restaurant and you stopped in there to see her. Plus the ice cream set up is awesome!!!

We tried Claire's restaurant today for 1st time since it reopened! It was absolutely FANTASTIC! INCREDIBLE HOMEMADE RANCH, CRANBERRY SLAW, CREAM SLAW, TURKEY PLATTER, MEATLOAF, OF COURSE THE BROASTED CHICKEN IS A LONG TIME FAVORITE, EXCELLENT SPAGHETTI SAUCE, AWESOME GRILLED CHEESE & BEST HOT BROWNIE SUNDAE EVER! All the food was top notch!! We will be regulars again for sure!! Our granddaughter loved it too! Thank you for a lovely evening!

Four of us new to Clairs stopped for dinner. We sat at the counter, ordered a variety of tastey dinner options, fish, roasted chicken, roast beef platter and pork. Corn fritters to start and yummy desserts were enjoyed by all. We had a very good server and service. It's understandable why Clair's was crowded and customers were willing to wait patiently in line to be seated. The only negative for us that the booths are tight, so our only option was to eat at the counter. We would definitely go back to Clair's when in the area again.

More than just a Hanover institution.
This is a home style restaurant that does it right. They stay at the top of their game with food and service.
Menu is simple but each dish is perfect.
The Wait staff is cheerful and prompt, and
Your order is sitting in front of you before you know it.
Portions are generous and prices will leave you with plenty in your pocket to be generous to the wait staff. Please do.

Claire's is always a friendly place to relax, and enjoy a wonderful meal. Could only be better if they offered breakfast. 🍳☕❤

Great little Mom & Pop restaurant. Reasonably priced. Good food. Great service. Don't get the crab cake if you're used to how they serve them on the Chesapeake Bay, flakes vs lump. But it was a decent inland effort. They have an outstanding ice cream selection, full of Hershey's flavors. They even had some gluten-free flavors. We'll definitely be back.

The food was delicious. The wait to get a seat was long so I ordered take out.

Great experience. Kim was an absolute delight. You can not find a nicer person. She has a remarkable memory and is very helpful. All the staff was nice.
I had the strawberry and pecan salad special. It was delicious and huge. It's definitely worth going to.

Very nice people and great food for what you are paying for! I got the Patty melt, and it's the best I've had anywhere else, and also battered fries to go with it. There are also many options there and have hard serve ice cream!!!

Had a great experience at Claire’s this evening. They were pretty busy but the waitress was very attentive to us. The spaghetti was delicious and the salad is big for a side salad, just how I like it. My husband had the Chicken Parm and he said it was delicious.

It is where i got the best chicken cheese steak of my life i litterly will drive there even if it is out of the way and they havd soft serve which was awesome
