Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Orlando Near Universal Orlando Resort

It is a great place to stay if you are going to Universal studios. They have a free shuttle that takes you and brings you back from the park. The hot breakfast was excellent all five days that we were here (please see pictures). Everything in the room was as it suppose to be and super clean.

They also have an agent in the lobby to help you with your Orlando vacation planning!

As an annual pass holder at Universal I’ve stayed at this property many times and have never had an issue. The staff is friendly, the rooms and common areas are clean and they have free breakfast. It is within walking distance to City Walk and they also have a shuttle service. Millers Ale House is right across the parking lot for late night food and drinks.

Sandro was a great receptionist! He was thorough and was very polite in his interactions with guests. Check-in was smooth, room was clean, cleaning staff was helpful, and overall, we had enjoyed staying at the hotel. It was convenient to have a few restaurants and shops nearby we could walk to. We used Lyft often during our stay and there were times when the driver was unclear how to get to the hotel due to it sharing parking lots/spaces with other businesses- but overall, it was truly a good experience.

Great stay as always with Marriot hotels. Sandro was extremely helpful, going out of his way to find me a phone charger and even helped me carry my breakfast to elevator as hands were full with the plates for myself and GF. Breakfast and cleaning staff helpful and nice as well. Highly recommend all Marriot hotels. Only brand I'll use.

Great location close to Universal Studios. Walgreens, Burger King, and many more stores and coffee shops that are next to the hotel and you can walk to them.
Rooms are big and comfortable with coffee maker, microwave and small fridge. The serve a nice breakfast also.

I stayed here Dec 10th through the 15th. I stayed in a King Suite and it was excellent. I felt very comfortable. I have no complaints. Location Excellent. Staff housekeeping extremely nice. I will stay here again. 10/10

First time staying in this hotel location was great many places around it and it was a 5 minute drive from universal, island of adventure, and volcano bay. They offer free shuttle from hotel to park and back. Rooms seem a bit outdated and had a weird smell, besides that great place staff are also great and great breakfast.

The staff is extremely friendly and kind. Any time we have needed anything they have been wonderful.

I would highly recommend this hotel. Room service was great, they were not intrusive, they served with a smile. Mimosoe, I hope that I got her name, right, and the rest of the team catered to our needs. The breakfast is great! I am more of a heart, bold, egg person, when they didn’t have any available on the line, they would always get them for me. Silvana Not only helped during breakfast, but provided activities and entertainment options for us. Again, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Walking distance from Universal studios! The front desk staff (all of them) were so very nice and accommodating.

Everything was very good, it had what one may need, a swimming pool, gym, abundant breakfast, clean, good restaurants and stores at walking distance, etc. Best of all was the attention of the staff. They were very kind and the mismatches were corrected in a very collaborative way. Thanks, we'll return someday.

Very close to Universal. Shuttle is great for to and from park too. Rooms are very clean. Breakfast is fantastic, and staff are friendly and helpful. Could not have asked for a better experience. Pool is clean and a great way to wind down at night. No hot tub.

Leaving a review because I was THRILLED with the breakfast options - including gluten free bagels, and dairy free milk/creamer. Was not expecting that and was blown away by that forethought. Service & staff were wonderful: kind, helpful, and informative. Shuttle service to Universal & location was great. Rooms were very humid, leading to strong "wet shoe" smells.

I would highly recommend this hotel as the staff are super helpful, great service, rooms are cleaned everyday and lovely swimming and fitness Centre. Overall one of the best hotels i have ever stayed.

It's a $100 hotel right next to the parks. It is exactly what you pay for, and we would absolutely stay again. Staff is nice, shuttle is punctual and convenient. If the shuttle times didnt work for us, it was a $10 uber. Beds are clean, room A/C kept the room cold. Hotel felt safe and was quiet. Conveniently next to a Walgreens. Didn't feel humid for Florida. There were dehumidifiers/air purifiers on every floor. Breakfast was well stocked.

First time going Orlando. This hotel really made the adventure so much better especially with the staff greetings and being so polite to its customers especially me. I felt like home in another state. It was awesome. Great hotel as well, breakfast was good, the rooms were clean, wiped and beds made. I recommend going to this hotel especially if you are going to Disney land or anything but this hotel. One of the best I’ve gone too.

We wanted a hotel that would suffice for a one night stay before heading to the airport after our universal Orlando vacation. They do have a shuttle to universal studios, but I did not inquire about the times because we would not be using it. This is because we stayed at the royal pacific to get the express passes, which are good for the duration of your stay as well as your check in and check out date. Since the royal pacific hotel is on the pricy side, on our last day we checked out of the royal pacific and checked into this Fairfield Marriott to save some money on our last night and since it is very close to universal studios. The front desk employee was extremely friendly and helpful. The only weird thing to me is that when they go to charge the deposit, for some reason it alerts your credit card as a fraud charge and you have to respond to the text message that it is not a fraud in order for the deposit to get charged. She says this happens “every time”. I think it’s a little weird that whatever way they use to charge deposits triggers a fraud alert on everyone’s credit card “every time”. I am a marriot bonvoy member and I have never experienced this before at any other hotels. Nevertheless, the charges went through correctly, and I was charged the right amount at the end of the stay. We reserved two rooms and we were put next to each other which was nice (although not connecting rooms, which is fine because we didn’t really need it or request it). The rooms are very spacious, tons of room everywhere. You can tell the hotel has had its fair share of wear and tear, but it didn’t feel low quality. They have breakfast in the lobby in the morning. It is mostly a continental breakfast with the exception of premade omelets. So if you don’t like omelets, your choices are limited. However if you do like omelets you are in luck because the omelets were really good. There are other things like muffins, bagels, bread/toast, fruit, yogurt, and cereal. Be sure to get the passion orange guava juice from the machine because it’s so good. Because it was so good it ran out during breakfast and it took quite a while for it to be refilled. It was an adequate breakfast before we had to head to the airport. Overall I would recommend this hotel as you get a pretty good bang for your buck here with spacious rooms, included breakfast, friendly employees, and proximity to universal studios.

Price right, nice rooms, excellent service, really good breakfast.... gotta come back.
