I was looking to purchase a shed kit from Lowe's and build in my backyard. I decided to look at pre-built options from A Capital Fireplace & Hearth. They have a great selection on their lot but you can also order a custom size as well which is what I did. I was told 4 to 6 weeks for delivery and sure enough right at 4 weeks I got a call that is was ready. It was delivered and set in place and it is the nicest shed I have ever owned by far! The cost to buy this one built and delivered was the same cost as buying a kit at Lowe's then having to buy the shingles, flooring, paint and not to mention building it. Check them out if you ever need a shed. Good people to work with! Thanks Dave and Kitten!

A Capital and Dave have been great to work with. He was able to install our gas logs on a very tight timeframe in time for Christmas and is always available to answer any questions that we have. He is someone who cares about his customers before and more importantly after the sale. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I can’t say enough good things about my experience. I never leave reviews but I feel in this case I need to. I called Dave because my carbon monoxide detector went off and was reading high levels. He said he would have to call me back because he was in the middle of something else. Dave not only called me back but in the meantime I was able to take a couple pictures of the inside of my chimney from the clean out . Dave was more than willing to walk me through checking some things while on the phone and also told me to send the pics I took. He immediately told me what he saw to be the issue and walked me through taking care of it myself he also suggested what needed to be done in the near future and suggested calling our home owners. He then called me several hours later just to make sure everything was ok and offered to come out if I needed his help. There were no fees involved throughout this process. When the time comes to do the chimney repairs in the near future he is the only person I will call.

My husband and I purchased a ventless gas fireplace including a fire box. I went last Saturday and made my selection and this Saturday my husband and I and picked it up! I was told by another store it would take 4 weeks to get the fire box! The owner Dave is very knowledgeable and accommodating. Before you buy check here.

Knowledgeable, professional and all around great service

Dave was able to clean our gas fireplace to take away an odd odor that it emitted. He also took the time to teach me what to do to clean and maintain it ongoing. He also was the one to originally place the gas log burning system two years ago. We are very pleased with it. Dave also cleans our chimney when needed.

Good bait, ok prices. Hours are inconsistent but that’s the bait shop industry. He has a bait machine out front that’s available 24/6

Helpful owner

Talked to them in September, they said they’d be able to get my fireplace in before the holidays... it took over a month for Dave to get to my house. By this time, my installation got pushed back to January. I never got an estimate. He said he sent it. I sent him an email so I he could send it... and I’ve never heard back... They seemed really nice, but it was a disappointing experience.

I'm sure the work would have been just fine... but the man I spoke to on the phone was so rude that I guarantee they'll never get my business.
