Rob's Pizza

I used to come to this place with my family on Saturday nights when I was a kid in the 90s. It was one of the few places that made white pizza, meaning no red sauce, before it was a big thing. My dad and mom always ordered a white pizza with ham and mushrooms to share (he couldn't have red sauce since it messed with his stomach), and my brother and I would get a cheese and pepperoni pizza. I always loved going there. I'd read all the far side comics that were plastered all over the wall of the counter while we waited for our pizzas. Pizza was always delicious. The owner, Rob, would welcome us each time we came in and knew us by name. We moved away in 1997 to Michigan, but we'd return to Pittsburgh every once in awhile to see family and friends, and when we did we'd occasionally return to Rob's and he still would still remember us. Well years went by, and I moved back to Pittsburgh as an adult almost 5 years ago. I was on a road trip with a friend to State College and we had to drive through Murrysville. I remembered my favorite childhood pizza place and was delighted to see it was still there. My friend suggested we place an order on our way home for pick up. When I placed the order I was so glad to hear a familiar voice on the phone. I ordered what we ordered back in the day-2 small pizzas: a ham and mushroom white pizza (in memory of my dad who passed away in 2008) and a pepperoni pizza for me and my friend to share. When I bit into the ham
and mushroom pizza, it was just as delicious as it was when I was a kid. I'm so glad this place is still around so others can enjoy it as much as I do!🍕

I had a medium pizza with pepperoni bacon mushroom and sweet pepper and a can of ginger ale.

Hands down the best Buffalo chicken pizza I've ever had - highly recommend!!!

This is my first time coming to Rob's pizza and it was a very heartfelt place. Owner is very nice gentleman and the food was equally phenomenal. We got the white chicken pizza and a streak sub and both were fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is willing to support a family owned establishment. Support Local folks.

Rob’s Pizza is so delicious once you start eating you dnt want to stop.The owner has the most outstanding customer service I have seen so far since moving to Pittsburgh.Rob’s Pizza is my new Pizza joint. If you haven’t tried it, hurry up and try it.

The decor of the place some people might say is dated. I disagree. I think it showcases how long the shop has been around and gives you an idea to how good the product will be. When I eat pizza is base it on 3 things regardless of what else is on the canvas. Crust: taste great, smells good, cooked perfectly. Sauce: some where between a sweet sauce and savory sauce and it works great! Cheese blend: nice and string with great taste.

I was told it would be a 15 minute wait, it was less than that with a delicious product given to me.

I recommend it even if you are just passing by for a quick bite.

Best pizza n Italian hoagie in Pittsburgh

Rob treats customers as valued guests. The pizza, hoagies, salads, etc. are not skimpy in size or ingredients. And fresh and delicious! The seating space is inviting in a quirky, casual, "hometown" vibe. No delivery, but now participates in Doordash and another service. Worth picking up though!!

Fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic prices. Robs offers easily the best Pizza in or around Murrysville. What more could you ask for? If you haven't tried it, I highly suggest that you do.

I remember going here as a child with my family. My husband, son and I went in and sat down to eat and everything was fantastic.

Rob's a home town man. He makes a great pie and generally knows what's going on in town. Hoagies are good as well.

Been going here for years, best pizza and hoagies in all of the burgh. Coming from guy that now lives in the city. anytime I want pizza I come back out here!

Best pizza crust! Best pizza & hoagies! A great variety of specialty pizza's! And, Rob is entertaining to talk with!!
