Grandma's Country Oven Bake Shoppe

We have been ordering birthday cakes and buying pastries for about 4 years now. They have never disappointed us. The cakes have the right amount of sweetness and are very soft and moist. The staff is always friendly and full of enthusiasm. Would highly recommed this bakery.

What a wonderful bakery. I ordered 4 dozen specially decorated cookies for my daughter's baby shower. I sent a picture and was contacted by phone to complete the order. When I picked up the cookies the morning of the shower and saw how beautiful they were, I was not disappointed. They looked just like the picture of the cookies she wanted and they tasted delicious. There is always plenty of parking, the bakery case is always stocked with fresh baked items and the freezer is kept just as full with frozen desserts as well.

I found it hard to choose what to buy because everything looked delicious. I ended up buying their strawberries and rhubarb tart, snickerdoodle scone, and some crescents (peach and nuts); everything was delicious, not overly sweet either. The tart was my favorite and I look forward to trying the other flavors. They also make bread and cakes (ready to buy or to order). The girl behind the counter was very nice and quick.
The bakery is next to the Schramm's farm Marker and there is a large parking lot.
It's a bit far from my house otherwise I'd be there weekly. I recommend you stop by and try some of their delicious sweets!

My wife and I have ordered multiple cakes from here, gotten baked goods, and had the cheesecakes. Every single one has been delicious.

Beats the pants off of Prantls and the other better known bakeries in the area.

Very cool set up inside, the people were very nice and helpful, and the butter cream icing on this cupcake is ELITE. Glad I found this hidden gem!

They did our wedding cake back in October and is was exactly what I hoped for! Prices are amazing and the cake is delicious! They decorated the cake the morning of the wedding with flowers from my florist!

Great tarts! I had the raspberry, blueberry, and cherry. The crust was flaky and the filling was gooey.

My brother was in town and I thought we should stop here since I heard so many great things about them. The outside of the bakery looks great - the inside was a little underwhelming. Got a chocolate cupcake (delish) and lady locks (perfect)

A great hidden gem. Their stuff is so good. The pies are especially nice, along with the cheesecakes.
