The Vault Pizza & Grill

We went on Wednesday evening to try some place new, as this place came recommended from a friend. The staff was friendly, we sat at the bar, and the bar tender was attentive and gave recommendations and let me taste a few different IPAs. We started with the orange crushes, as they came highly recommended. They used a lot of fresh oranges and it was very good! (I think my husband drank his in like 1 minute! Lol.) We ordered food, which I was taking a while and couldn't decide bc it all sounded good. The bartender told me what meals were popular. We decided to go with our go tos foe new spots. He got the chicken cheese steak as a "turn over" on their pizza dough. It was very delicious!!! The bread was so warm too! I got the bacon Bleu burger. It came out exactly how I ordered, medium, the meat patty was bigger than the bun, which was soooo soft and good, I think it was a brioche bun. It was very very good!!! We also got the curly fries, and an order of mozzarella. Our friend told us they have homemade ranch, so we asked for a side of that, an definitely better than regular ranch.

We are excited about coming back to try other items in the menu.

I went there for a happy hour with coworkers. The wait staff and bartenders were VERY attentive, even if they were busy. I have a gluten allergy & the staff were very willing to check on ingredients and contact allergy needs.
This is a bar & grill sort of atmosphere, so the appetizers were good, and the drink menus are all-encompassing. There was a large variety of regular beers, shots, and cocktails, but also seasonal favorites! They seem to change these out every few weeks, which keeps it fresh!
The manager, at the time we were there, was on the floor and helping staff and checking on tables. He was friendly and even talked to us about some of choices for the seasonal drinks and menu.

Update...I always feel welcome at The Vault! Back again today for a little Monday afternoon Father's Day lunch. Same great service with our server (sorry I do not recall her name) doing another great job taking care of us. Once again the food was great. Prices reasonable. I am sure we will be back again!

I was part of a party of 8 there to have dinner and drinks to celebrate a 21st birthday. From the time we hit the door we felt welcome there. We were promptly seated and drink orders taken. Special shout out to our server Allison! She was always there to take care of any requests. Extra condiments, more napkins, more drinks, whatever the need, no problem. She had it covered!! Food was great. Prices reasonable. Staff was fantastic. Nice relaxing atmosphere. This was personally my first time there but I have a real good feeling that I will be back again.

Nice place for the relaxed older crowd for lunch and some retirees having afternoon drinks! Great atmosphere, fair prices, and delicious food! Great friendly bartenders! We will return again next time we're visiting York.

Food and service were excellent. I ordered the BBQ burger and my wife got the turnover cheeseburger sub. Both were great. Everything is reasonably priced too. Will be coming back for sure.

So I too was here the other night when Mr “Michael Anderson” (two reviews below me) was having a not so great conversation with the manager there. Luckily for my nosey but I was right behind Michael and his wife so I heard it all. What they are saying is not correct completly. Yes they separated you but you admitted that they told you over the phone that they can’t seat party’s of 7 or more together, you proceeded to apparently ask again when you got to the vault and were again told no and then had this kinda rude outburst at the end of your visit for all of us to hear.

You’re saying he was rude, he literally just said the same words to you and I guess you didn’t like them “didn’t we tell you over the phone”. Man was upset he was split up with his family which I get but you were informed twice buddy. Go tell your buddy’s because I was a server years ago and in my experience, they probably don’t even want people that act like you in their business. You caused a big show but it’s funny because you stayed and ate.

Anyway my family of three loved it like always. It was actually super packed so again not sure what Mr Anderson is talking about again, it was a Friday night around 6. Anyone who knows restaurants know that it isn’t all that easy to get a huge party together like that last minute anyway on a Friday night at that time:

We had amazing drinks. I got the Buffalo chicken cheesesteak in the “vault” I think maybe it was called. It’s made in fresh pizza dough 😋. Portions are great I left full but still had lunch today which I was super hype about. My boyfriend and my son also enjoyed their meal as always. For as busy as it was, food came out super quick and amazing. Will be back, never a disappointment!

We've dined in before but my last trip was a pick up order. As usual, no issues. Received everything I wanted and within the time frame mentioned.

I almost always only leave bad reviews but WOW WOW WOW. I didn’t even leave the table before leaving this review. Everything 10 out of 10! I got the cheese steak deluxe turnover and curly fries. DELICIOUS!

The food was fresh, hot, tasty and cheap! This place is really a nice place. The owner knows most of his customers by first name pretty cool and refreshing to have such a nice professional and posh establishment in Dover Pa. Definitely brought your A game…… overall bad a$$ place !!!

A definite go to place. The food is always good. The atmosphere is modern and welcoming. Two bars makes this place even better!

Great place! Love going here. Friday nights is really busy. Could be the cream of crab soup that night. We go here regularly.

Absolutely love their food! If you get a sub make sure to get it turn over style so the bread is pizza crust. AMAZING.

Some of the best fettuccine Alfredo I've had in years. Wonderful homemade baclava, a big piece for only $4.

We go here all the time since it's close to us. Good food at good prices. It's nice because the bar is not one where you can smoke at. Nice family owned restaurant. This place does get full though.
