Visited this fine establishment with some friends and I must say, the food is amazing. The venue is for fine dining and is small and quaint. So make sure you make a reservation or you will find yourself out of luck. It can also be pricey but with what you get it's well worth a special night with your spouse or small group. I had the Lobster Romano which was amazing. And my wife had the filet mignon. She's already asking to return for her birthday. Everything here is quality. A+

We went here for my b day dinner . This was my 1st time here, and I am from Monessen and have always wanted to go there. I got the veal and wine, and my wife got the chicken parmasean. Both were excellent! Also, the pasta and pasta sauce were very sweet, and we loved it, probably my favorite part of the meal. We were there at 5, so it was not packed. That was good because we got to talk to the waitress about the menu. The atmosphere was nice and there was ample parking. The price was good. When I am back in town, I will be stopping by again.

We’ve lived two miles away from Lucchesi’s for five years and just recently heard about them. We went tonight for our five year anniversary and we were not disappointed. We had the Garlic Shrimp appetizer and it was amazing. I got the Lobster Romano and my husband got the Filet Mignon. Both were absolutely wonderful. We got the cannoli to go for dessert. YUM. Like other have said, it’s not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. We will absolutely be back again! Thank you, Lucchesi’s, for a wonderful anniversary dinner.

Absolutely without a doubt a diamond in the rough the owner father mother son are all so they are five stars but they’re above stars a true recognition to find Italian cuisine. Monessen has an equal of New York. Truly Italian cuisine a very nice environment family owned. I can only tell you if you have never had Italian food and desserts. You don’t have to go to New York. It’s just a little drive but it’s well worth it. You should never question the price when you’re getting something priceless I love that restaurant Trattoria unfortunately the sun has taken over the business but I soon learned he was the cook the whole time inherited by Life from la familiar all I can tell you is that you need to drive to Monessen and make it a event

Went here with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. The food was phenomenal and they make a great margarita. My husband made fun of me for ordering a margarita. But it was good. The atmosphere is great as well with low lighting and candles. It is sorta fancy place but is still down to health giving off a sorta home like vibe. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A very pleasant surprise. Toni the waitress was very patient with us. My wife and I ordered things we have never tried before and we weren't disappointed. Toni had taken the time to explain and even make corrections to what we wanted. She is a true professional.

We felt very at home there.

Great food and atmosphere. We traveled an hour to get to the restaurant and will definitely be going back. Fillet and veal were both fantastic. They’re open Thursday through Saturday. Make sure you make reservations. Call the number listed and leave a message if no one answers, they will call you back. Wait staff was extremely friendly. They don’t have a website or menu listed online. Entrees include: lobster, fish, several fillet/steak options, several veal choices, and chicken. Probably forgetting some, but just wanted to provide first timers with an idea.

Delicious Mafalda Appetizer, Veal Romano, and Steak Diane, warm Cream Brûlée for desert. Cozy atmosphere and the server Tony Lynn was so friendly and helpful, she really makes us feel at home. We highly recommend Lucchesi’s!

We go here fairly often and are never disappointed. It is better than the majority of restaurants in Pittsburgh.

What a wonderful atmosphere. Felt like we were eating in a 1950's mobster joint. Service was excellent and the food was one of the best Italian restaurants I've have ever ate at. Expect higher than normal prices, but this isn't your local Olive Garden.

What can I say...Lucchesi's is the hidden gem in the Mon Valley! Excellent service, mouth watering food, and the ambience is beautiful. Upscale dining establishment with some Italian flair. The owners are wonderful and so talented. Sarah the bartender is creative and entertaining, never disappointed with her fun and flavorful drinks. I recommend the Peppers and Cheese for an appetizer and Italian Margarita for the drink. As a main dish, I would order just about anything!

It's not cheap, but it's also the best Italian food I've ever eaten. Well worth the price in my opinion. Call ahead and order the Baked Angel Hair appetizer, you won't regret it!
