Great shop. Owner is very helpful and ties some great flies that really produce on his home water. His detailed directions got me onto some great water yesterday with several nice fish to the net. This shop is a prime example of why local businesses should be supported. I will stop in the next time I am in the area for sure.

Bruce Fisher is alway's very helpful to guide your choices on flies, current hatches, gear, tips, and willing to answer any questions you may have with fly fishing. If your a beginner or a seasoned angler Bruce at Penns's Creek Angler is there to help. He has alway's answered my questions that I've had and steer me in the right direction with flies and set-ups so that when I get to the water I'm ready and feeling confident. What's a great shop on one of my favorite stream. Bruce is great guy with a lot of knowledge and advice about anything fly fishing. Who is willing to share. Great fly fishing gear and flies.

This is the place to pay your "Fly Fishing Green Fees." Bruce will tell you what flies and what is happening in the creek. Just make sure you pay the fee before asking like we should do at any shop unless you lr buying flies.

Central PA has a lot of great fly shops no doubt. However, Penns Creek Angler is one of the best. All the stuff you need, nothing you dont. If you have never fished Penns, your first stop should be to see Penns Creek Angler.

Nice local fly shop. The gentleman working was extremely helpful and had some great flies to purchase. They are a orvis dealer too so incase you need some gear.
