Hildenbrand Design Center

Have been working with Steve Hildenbrand over the past year. We've ordered our windows and bathroom cabinets and countertops here. Very easy to work with, quick to quote, and flexible in schedule for us to be able to pick everything up. He is also very straightforward about expected timeframes for the windows to come in.

Steve is very accommodating with answering all my questions and customizing the quotes for me as I changed plans along the way.

I'm putting on an expansion for a cabin, and requested a quote for windows and doors. I was able to get a quote within hours of requesting the quote. I called to talk through the items, and adjusted some items as well and received an update that day.
Prior to calling Hildenbrand which is about 35 miles from the job location, I called many other local to the job businesses including the big box orgs (84, lowes, home depot) several days to weeks ago and I have STILL not received quotes from anyone else even after trying to call back several times, aside from Lowes however lowes didnt quote out the right items, and now i'm waiting for an updated quote with the correct or near correct items.
Working with Hildenbrand has been great. They actually answer their phones without making me listen to 90 different options for which department to select, then hoping that someone will actually answer only to have it return to their customer service desk which will in turn put me right back into the endless loop.
Here's the great part, so far Hildenbrand has come in lower than Lowes and based on the website alone, will come in right around the same price as home depot.
Unless 84 comes back with an EXCEPTIONAL price, I would spend a little more to go with Hildenbrand even if 84 came in cheaper.
Hildenbrand is how a business should be run. Answer your phone, answer questions, get back to your customers and provide options that can accommodate everything from small to large, from out of the box to custom. Hildenbrand has me excited about my project, rather than dreading the details and the money being spent. That feeling you get when you order something from the big box stores, that worry that the product will arrive when quoted and as ordered doesnt need to be as long as businesses like Hildenbrand exist. The only way they will exist is if we stop giving money to this big box stores and start supporting our local businesses.
It's a no brainer. Great customer service, competitive prices and selection. Why would I go elsewhere unless someone is giving the items away?
I look forward to working with them on my country kitchen as well.
