Visiting the Flight 93 National Memorial was a profoundly humbling experience. Set in the quiet, rolling hills of Pennsylvania, the site is a somber reminder of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, and the heroism of the passengers and crew aboard Flight 93. The design of the memorial is thoughtful and respectful, with a pathway leading to the Wall of Names, where each victim's name is inscribed on individual panels, facing the crash site. Walking through the memorial, the sense of sacrifice and loss is palpable, yet there is also a strong feeling of unity and resilience. The Visitor Center provides a detailed account of the events, personal stories, and artifacts that deepen the understanding of the day's events. The peaceful surroundings and reflective atmosphere of the memorial invite visitors to pay their respects and reflect on the impact of that day. It's a place that not only honors those who lost their lives but also educates and inspires visitors to remember the values of courage, sacrifice, and freedom.

Educational, emotional, and beautiful tribute to the lives lost on Flight 93.
The park ranger shared about prior land ownership, the symbolism of the design of the grounds being like a mother's embrace, the tall walls to draw your attention up towards the sky/flight path, and the wooden gate/wood ceilings being a nod to the hemlocks that were damaged/burned during the explosion. and so much more.
Truly incredible experience, this place will humble you.

The Flight 93 Memorial is such a great place to learn about what had happened on Flight 93 from 9/11. What they have done here to memorize the victims and everyone else affected by that dreadful day is amazing. They went above and beyond with this memorial. Inside you can find a ton of information and artifacts from the area during 9/11. There is no photography or video allowed inside of the building. There is a trail that will lead you down to the wall and where the crash site is. You can also drive here and walk a short distance to the crash site. A rock symbolizes where the plane had crashed. Take your time to enjoy and show respect towards all that had happened and all those brave people that had helped during the crash. The area is also very scenic.

In the area for work , I stopped here to show my respect to those brave Americans who surrendered their lives to stop the terrorist on that horrific day.

The site is very well down in how it preserves the natural beauty and shows respect to the heroes of Flight 93.

Unfortunately, the wind speed was not high enough get the wind chimes going, but seeing it was great nevertheless.

Well worth the visit

Somber, and yet resonating. This memorial is beautiful and really does an amazing job educating about the final moments these heroic people lived. There are two main areas. The tower of voices is closest to the entrance, while the memorial museum is farther up the hill. It's best to come in the main door which is to the left of the parking lot. The inside tells the story from take off to grounding. So many years later and my heart still mourns with the families. I pray these powerful people continue to rest in peace.

This place is amazing to see, the park is a true final resting place for the Heros of Flight 93. Everything is designed symbolic of the people, plane and the path. Take a moment to chat with the park rangers they have alot of good information that you don't realize is going on around you. If you get the chance a must see!!!!

Excellent memorial for the tragedy that occurred here. The signs are informational and really remind you what occurred on that fateful day. The place is very somber and truly makes you reflect. The design of the buildings following the flight path is brilliant and the way everything else is laid out is wonderful. I didn't realize how much land they have in the park but it is expansive.

We were taking the back roads to Hershey, PA and happened to drive by as it’s in a remote location. We turned around to visit and pay tribute to the men and women who lost their lives on Flight 93. The memorial was majestic and beautiful, standing tall by itself among the rolling hills. Very emotional experience standing there and hearing the chimes. So glad we turned around to experience this.

Very emotional experience! Only tourist location I've ever visited that moved me to tears. I surmise someone born in the 1930's or earlier would feel similar while visiting Pearl Harbor. I found the differences in the reactions in the various visitors there very interesting. The younger visitors seemed curious but respectful. Many of the older visitors seemed saddened. Some openly wept listening to the actual recordings left by passengers on the answering machines of their loved ones when they realized they would most likely die.

There is no fee to visit the Memorial park or visitor center. The exhibits are very educational, recreating the events on the morning of 9/11/01. Pets are allowed outside, but preferably not on the granite walkways. The only possible "negative" I can say is that there is a small gift shop in the visitor center. Some people might find this a bit tacky, but I thought the items sold were mainly educational or patriotic, and it's for a good cause, so I didn't mind its presence.

I won't hesitate to visit here again in the future. Watching the deer feed in the same field where so much death occurred years earlier, with the beautiful backdrop of a blue sky and colorful autumn leaves, left me with a mixture of emotions: peace, sadness, admiration, despair, etc. It is an experience I will never forget. 💔❤

A beautiful tribute to those that lost their lives. Well worth the drive. It was moving to walk through the visitor center with so many memories from that day put together in a succinct explanation of the course of events that changed us all forever. The NPS has very good plaques to show you where different things are when looking out over the crash site. It’s hard to tell where things haven happened now because nature has healed the land. The crash site looks like a serene field with deer grazing.

This was an incredible opportunity everyone should experience. On October 7th, we traveled from Cumberland, Maryland, with a group of Seniors. We had a lovely trip. The only down part was the staff in the visitors center.
They were very short with guests and had no patients answering questions. They were also talking negatively about other staff members.
However, the young woman presenting at the wall of names was incredible and patient with everyone who came that day.

What a humbling experience. I wasn't sure what to expect and was absolutely stunned at the beautifully curated space. Definitely could have spent an entire day on the grounds exploring and taking in the scenic overlooks. There is a diversity of indoor and outdoor memorials that make the commemorative space suitable for all weather conditions.

The Flight 93 National Memorial in Pennsylvania stands as a solemn tribute to the courage and resilience of ordinary Americans who became heroes on a fateful day in our nation's history. Visiting this hallowed ground with my family was a deeply moving experience.

The museum, though photo-restricted, tells a powerful story of bravery and sacrifice. It commemorates the passengers and crew who, in the face of unspeakable terror, made an unthinkable decision: to confront the forces of darkness and prevent further devastation. Their selflessness and determination to protect others embody the spirit of our country.

Walking through the memorial grounds, you can't help but feel a profound sense of gratitude for these individuals who gave their lives to safeguard countless others. The serene landscape, including the Field of Honor and the Wall of Names, offers a place for reflection and remembrance. It's a reminder that even in our darkest hours, the American spirit shines bright.

The Flight 93 National Memorial isn't just a must-see for Americans; it's a testament to the indomitable human spirit and the enduring values that unite us all. It's a place that honors the past while inspiring hope for a better future. Every American should make this pilgrimage to pay tribute to the heroes of Flight 93 and to reaffirm our shared commitment to freedom and resilience.

This was a very nice memorial for the hero’s of flight 93. The park rangers and other staff really care about their work there. The experience is emotional and pays respect to the victims of flight 93. There was one park ranger that we watched give the presentation of the events that happened that day. He presented very well and kept all of us engaged until the very end. There was never a point a time where you didn’t feel like he cared about what happened that day and that he was helping their heroic actions alive each time he tells the story. This is a must see place if you are ever in the area.

Probably one of the best done/most moving/touching memorials I've been to. Every aspect is intriguing, thought provoking and an amazing oumage to the heroes of United flight 93. So glad I saw the sign on the highway and decided to deviate from my route for a visit. The highlight of my visit to Pennsylvania and I can't recommend it enough.

For those old enough to remember will bring a tear to your eye. I remember coming when it was just a fence. I remember talking with the owner of Shorty's who told our group what he saw that fateful day. Never forget. The new memorial and voices tower are done respectfully. To my Vmax brethren I will never forget.

Very well designed memorial to never forget the 40 passengers and crew of Flight 93.

The main theme focused on the final flight path of the aircraft and how citizens united to take control of an aircraft intended to harm other Americans.

As I walked the path to the impact location I had a feeling of heroic actions against evil, similar to when I walked the beaches of Normandy.

Absolutely beautiful memorial. What heros those passengers and crew were. It's a lot bigger then I realized. Plan on making another trip in spring so we can see more and especially The Tower of Voices
