Sweet Lou's Restaurant and Tap House

Our first stop upon landing as we were so hungry. I am glad we chose this restaurant. The food was so good, and everyone loved what they ordered.
The service, the atmosphere, and how nice and clean the place was made it even more enjoyable and welcoming. Especially when we just showed up in a big group of hungry people! They did such an amazing job serving us without being overwhelmed. Our waitress was amazing too. Oh I wish I remembered her name.
Go there if you’re in the area. I promise you will enjoy a delicious meal there.

He pretzel and cheese was huge, I liked the fresh veggies added to the cheese.
The peach basil freeze... ask for that drink, no basil add strawberry, by far way better! Pictured is the basil version, but after a taste I asked for an update and the bartender gave me her special blend not on the menu. So worth it!

Great atmosphere! Wonderful service! The food was amazing. The bison ribs were cooked to perfection! Our server Kerry really went above and beyond! I highly recommend this place!

Great food, excellent selection, something for everyone. I enjoyed the shrimp and my wife liked her lobster roll. The rest of the family loved the 60/40 burger and the grilled PBJ. The queso dip had too much tomatoes and other chunks. But the pretzel that came with it was amazing. I recommend the Huckleberry hard cider and my wife enjoyed mixing it with the Goat stout. The wait staff was good, we had several attending our large group.

Our first visit to a new restaurant was great!
I was unable to eat prior to my lab test & was starving. Our waitress quickly brought us a bucket of the best fries. We also had turkey club sandwiches.
Our waitress and the cook checked on us multiple times. Great service! Will be back soon! Great addition to Athol.

Went for an early dinner at 4 and got set right away got our meals fast. The food was impeccable I would recommend the onion rings and ribeye so yummy. Terrie is also by far the sweetest waitress.

Tucked away in little ol' Athol, Idaho is a most AMAZING restaurant. We were delayed in picking up our boat being repaired and needed to find a place to eat dinner. Our boat mechanic recommended Sweet Lou's, and it was a pleasant surprise. My husband had the Caesar Salad, with beef and salmon, and I had the Salmon and Grilled Peach Salad with homemade mango dressing. OMG, my tastebuds were singing! The restaurant is beautiful. and the service is fantastic! Thank you Sweet Lou"s for a delightful evening! 😁

The place is great. It is a bit cold inside so management may want to turn up the heat. This could be caused by all the windows. It is a modern and clean design. Not sure if that works 100% it comes off a bit sterile and colder rather than inviting and fun.

5 stars for our first visit to Sweet Lou's! We were at Silverwood for the day and decided to take a break from the crowd and go somewhere else for lunch. The service was attentive and fast, the food was made quick and made well and we hit happy hour 4pm-6pm so our drinks were discounted $1. Overall we were in and out within an hour and when we got back to Silverwood we noticed people who were at the back of the line when we left only just getting up to order when we got back at some of the places we had considered eating.

Great service, great food, awesome location. Best huckleberry lemonade. The fish and chips were full of flavor and fresh. Did not need nor want malt for the first time. It was great, never had a bad meal here.

Layne was great and the food showed the PRIDE the line cooks show. Well done $10 meal (plus the 🍺)

My husband and I loved our dinner here. He had the bison ribs with the bourbon BBQ sauce. I had the pork sirloin with apple and cranberry compote. Everything was tender, delicious, the ribs falling off the bone. Excellent!

Sweet Lou's is one of our new favorite spots. Absolutely love the food and the service is always great. Hamburger patties are delicious and they have great calamari. Do NOT forget to get the gluten free baked cookie desert. It is to die for.

It doesn't get better for me, than Lou's . Met family ❤ had a awesome time. Would recommend to everyone, please try deep fried Mac and cheese. Kudos to the crew, very professional. Impressive!

Great food and atmosphere. There are some options not on the menu, so dont be shy - ask. African chicken peanut soup is a great example. Very hearty soup.

My husband's food was great mine had some issues but the staff were so awesome and made it right that I definitely would go back. The atmosphere is great, not too loud, not too quiet. Will be returning for another date night!

Pretty nice place with a great atmosphere and really good food. The Grown up grilled cheese and tomato basil soup combo was absolutely fantastic!

Tailgating egg rolls are to die for and the burger is amazing as locals we go her all the time and love the family feel and grate food .....well see u guy soon!!

If you're close to Athol, I'd. You can't beat their menu. Try the deep fried mac/cheese. One of the best dinning experience I've ever had. ❤
