Hickory Hollow Campground

Can't say enough about this campground. The check-in process was very easy. The workers at the campground were pleasant and very helpful to all the campers. Per the locals, we experienced a microburst storm that knocked out the power and water. The crew worked hard to get both back on after the storm. Kudos to the staff of Hickory Hollow Campground. Beautiful and most relaxing campground.

This was a wonderful campground and was in a great location. The hosts were very accommodating and park was well maintained., it was a great experience and would stay there again if ever in the area.

Reservation and check in process excellent. Beautifully maintained, nice pull thru level sites with picnic tables and fire rings, pool was closed for season during our visit, clean restrooms and laundry, store/office neat, clean and a good mix of necessities and gift/souvenirs. Also available - but we did not use: cabins, dog park, fish & release pond, large pavilion, and covered wagon rentals. This park, like many others, has seasonals located is seperate section of park, and majority having well maintained lots. Close to Flight 93 and shopping. Recommend and would visit again!

First off, thanks for the last minute need for accommodations. While riding thru had some bike troubles. Found this wonderful campground!!! The camp is beautiful, well maintained, very clean bathhouse. Wish I could stay longer, guess I'll have to come back!!

What a great RV campground! Friendly staff, nice camp store with essentials and extras, clean bathhouse, convenient dog park, playground, laundry, and pool. Sites are nicely spaced with full hook ups and Wi-Fi. Highly recommend!

We are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) with 2 dogs and we are avid rustic tent campers. It is extremely hard to find a rustic site where it’s level, spacious and quiet. This campground has all 3 of those plus so much more. The sites are huge and away from the hussle and bussle of the other campsites. They were level and shaded and quiet. The bathhouse was close and kept very clean. The pool and pond are excellent touches to make the stay more enjoyable. There is also a small store that carries little souvenirs and some camping necessities. There’s a family dollar store 5 minutes down the road for little things you may have forgotten (like us, towels!) Our kids enjoyed playing basketball and volleyball and also enjoyed the little activities they had throughout the weekend that we stayed. This will be our official stop to go camping! Highly recommend this campground!

This is our 1st time here at Hickory Hollow but will not be the last.
The entire camp is very clean and well kept.
Sites are good sized.
The staff are very friendly as are the campers.
Is one of the best camp sites I have stayed at.

We stayed here twice during the 2016 season. Had a great time both stays. Very well maintained. Great base camp for exploring the area. The Great Allegheny Passage is close by. Back again in 2023. WiFi has been upgraded and the pool was very refreshing.

Always a great place to stay and hang out. They have a very nice pool and all of the sites are very well kept. The workers in the office are very nice.

I recently camped here with a small group of family and friends. We had a wonderful time. The campground was clean and the staff was very friendly. My dog loved the fenced dog area and large grassy areas. The lake was nice for fishing too. A very enjoyable camping trip. We will be returning next spring!

We recently visited Hickory Hollow for a long weekend trip. We had a full hookup site for our travel trailer. All the services were as advertised. Their shower house facilities were clean and nice hot water showers. They recently expanded their wi-fi capabilities and we took full advantage of.

If you're looking to camp somewhere new, I would highly recommend a stay at Hickory Hollow located in the beautiful Laurel Highlands.

This campground is so well kept. The grounds are beautiful, the people are all very friendly, the pool is always spotless, the bath house is also always spotless.
Always fun activities for all ages.
Added bonus Haunted Hollow is just across the main road.

Love Hickory Hollow! Discovered it last summer and spent our camping weekends there this summer. What a treasure! The campground is very relaxed, clean and well-maintained, beautiful. It is extremely quaint and everyone is friendly with a greeting and a wave always. The owners are wonderful and very attentive to their campers. Camping season went by way too fast!!! I’ll keep at my yoga, Tika!

The best kept secret in the mountains Gorgeous campground pretty awesome friends that are like family. The owner are amazing. Very clean bathrooms/ showers, swimming pool just sparkles. We couldn't ask for a better place to call our second home. We call it our happy place. Very highly recommend. But a long waiting to get in.

My fiancé and I just purchased an RV and had never been to a campground before. Needless to say, we had no idea what we were doing. The manager took the time to walk us through every single step. He even took our 3-4 calls when he went back to the office of our questions. Bathrooms were clean, laundry room was clean, and the office/store was very nice looking.

We enjoyed camping there from Sunday through Wednesday! Nice & quiet, we had a good shaded site, fire ring was away from rv with plenty of flat grass to have chairs sit around it. Hubby went fishing but didn't catch anything. Great location to see Somerset, Flight 93, Quecreek mine museum/site & Glade Pike winery!

My experience at Hickory Hollow. Was peaceful and relaxing. I was just visiting some family members that were camping there for short stay over one weekend.
The place is well kept and bathhouse is the cleanest one your ever go in. Lots of squirrels to watch and small play ground for the kiddies to play on. Saw all trailer campers there and RVs. Most sites have electric and water hook up. It's a real nice campground. Definitely worth staying a weekend or a week for some much needed quiet time nestled in the mountain valleys of good ole Somerset County Pennsylvania.

Beautiful campground! Stayed here so we could visit Flight 93 Memorial. Laurels Highlands is a beautiful area. Close to Kentuck Knob and Falling Water. Spotlessly clean. Easy & trouble free hookups. Clean laundry. Small but nice pool. We were in the wooded area. Sites are nice size with big area at rear for campfire, games, etc. Activities on weekends. Nice dog park. Beautiful lake and hubby says great fishing. Will come again, just to be here. If you need wifi for work, etc. bring your own set up as park wifi is weak and spotty. Verizon hotspot allowed for work Zoom, downloads, etc. Nearby Somerset, PA (20 minutes) is cute, has everything you need.

My friends and I have been coming to Hickory Hollow Campground for over seven years. Every October we rent a couple of cabins for the weekend and go to the local haunted houses. We have a great time every year. It is one of our favorite traditions. The staff are very nice and the scenery is great--there's a little pond with a dock right by the cabins that's great for pictures.
