Laurelwood Inn & Steakhouse

We stayed there in January, in the middle of the deep freeze that hit Pennsylvania. The owner is very polite, had several conversations with him. He was very accommodating to out requests. The food and staff at the steak house aaaaaere excellent. The decor was nice, and the rooms were warm, clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Laurelwood Inn was nice. We stayed here for 1 night on our way through Coudersport to star gaze at Cherry Springs, which is about a 15min drive away. The hotel served its purpose, a place to sleep and shower. At first we looked at the outdated decor and thought ugh, but it didn't take long for us to describe it as cutesy! The beds are very comfy! If I am in the area again I would stay here. The front desk staff was pleasant.
We ate at the steakhouse and it was very good. Nice portions and good prices. The restaurant staff was very friendly. The restaurant also has a bar, TVs and has nice small town charm. If I were passing through the area and didn't need to stay at the hotel, I'd eat at the steakhouse again!

Did not stay here, but we ate dinner here, and the steaks were wonderful! I also had the sweet potato fries and applesauce! Friendly staff! Even when we showed up late with a party of 10!

Clean older motel that could use some updating. Comfortable and staff was friendly. The STEAKHOUSE IN THE BACK IS EXCELLENT!!

Dont let the looks fool you. This place is a gem. Great room. Simple set up. The restaurant has absolutely amazing food. I can make a great steak on my grill but was humbled when they brought out there 23oz general potter porterhouse on a literally sizzling hot pan. It was cooked perfectly and had a flavor 2nd to none. I highly recommend staying and eating here. Tbe owner mark was very gracious when i literally locked the room key inside early Saturday morning. He had me inside the room with a spare in minutes. Thank you again mark we'll be back.

A small clean and affordable motel. Chris and his family are very friendly. Laurie the kitchen manager was incredible. The Tomahawk steaks were cooked to perfection. Salads and dessert were amazing too! We would highly recommend this motel. Next time we will be sure to use the hot tub

Went to eat at the restaurant because they have good steaks. However, steak servings were large. Had Italian which was excellent.

The food is great ... Service is great ... Really enjoy the weekend specials. Had the tomahawk steak (only served twice a year) and it was amazing ! Would strongly recommend that you stop in and try for yourself if you're in the area !!

We ate at the steakhouse: excellent food and lots of it. (Except the fries, which are ordinary.) But excellent chicken Parm and salad; freshly fried, home-made chips, and a nice cranberry cider.

Amazing Atmosphere, with a hardworking owner and staff. All meals we seen served looked appetizing and most were served sizzling. I heard the Shrimp BISQUE and the Stuffed mushrooms were amazing. We tried a fresh cheese and meat plater that was yummy. Check then out for Local music and Entertainement as well. Reasonable rates for rooms, stay and play awhile. Be safe.

Came and ate with some friends,food was amazing and my husband said it was the best steak he has ever had.
We will definitely be coming back.

Little hidden gem. My husband said his steak 🥩 was very good. We stopped there for dinner while waiting for our Grand daughter at gymnastics practice. We will be coming back soon

Absolutely fantastic meal! The food and service was top notch. I had the Flat Iron Steak, which was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend stopping in!

Cold rainy night, greeted with a warm welcome. Menu is a perfect size. Our waitress was quick and attentive. Our food was delicious. The steaks were.done to perfection, our sides were delicious and we shared a piece of Peanutbutter pie that was perfect. The prices were fair for the meal. We will definitely be back. Probably a nice place for a private party as well.

My stay was fantastic, clean, neat, quiet. The restaurant was amazing, maybe the best steak and peanut butter pie ever. It was a work trip that was more enjoyable due to the true honest and genuinely nice people that work there.

We have had dinner here several times. The staff are wonderful, the food is good.

We stayed in room 14 over the weekend for a snowmobile trip.

The Potter County Snowmobile Club grooms the trails right up to the back of the motel. There’s trails straight to the club and Denton Hill.

The rooms are nice, warm, and dry. The bathroom floor was heated and the shower head has the force of 1,000 fire hoses. Just make sure you call dibs on the bed by the door.

The steakhouse was great. Steaks came out literally sizzling on the metal plate.

Had heard about the general Potter porterhouse steak. And it was not disappointing. It may have been one of the best steaks I've ever had. We had some appetizers and the side dishes were every bit as good as the main course. Wonderful staff! I would highly recommend stopping. You won't be disappointed. I guarantee I'll be back. Small restaurants like this just don't get enough credit anymore.

Extremely comfortable with a great atmosphere and the owners are so welcoming. Prices are great, rooms are extremely clean and well put together. I prefer this little family owned Inn over ANY high dollar hotel, anyday!! And the food in thier restaurant is to die for!! I just can't get enough and will keep coming bk!!
