This old suspension bridge was on the way to and from Skj Big Bear. Otherwise, we won’t get a chance to admire this very interesting bridge - it is narrow and only allows one flow of traffic, one car at a time. It is a beautiful structure made of wood and metal.

We were able to walk on one side of it. Gives a majestic view of the Upper Delaware River. We stopped on a weekday afternoon and we enjoyed our private time :)

Pretty bridge, information panels are clear and easy to read. The New York side has an information “house”. It was closed on Sunday when we went. Didn’t see hours.
There’s parking on both sides with easy access to walk the bridge. Neat if your in the area.

Beautiful piece of engineering. Wooden bridge made by John A Roebling connecting Minisink Ford New York and Lackawaxen Pennsylvania, it even has a small museum where the toll both used to be back in 1908

What a beautiful site. The aqueduct has been restored and now allows one lane alternate vehicle crossing. There’s also a renovated Toll House with the history of the aqueduct. There also natural beauty. We saw several Bald Eagles and fish in the clear water below. We’ve been to this site several times with friends.

It's a historic landmark and a very peaceful stop along the Upper Delaware.the historic display and information booth is very interesting. Walk the bridge and enjoy the views. Stay off the roadway as that's actually in use.

An engineering wonder of its time, and a nice thing to look at and wonder in our time. Nice grounds to walk around and enjoy the scenery of the area. It is a nice walk in any season.

Amazingly structured driving/walking one-lane bridge with a D&R Canal Trail along Scenic Drive. There is a small parking lot, toll house and majestic views for photography.

A great place to spend an hour or two on a beautiful day. We poked around, explored, contemplated life in the time of canals. Nicely done signs and interpretation.

Love this bridge!!! Take the time to park and walk across bridge..... than realize this bridge carried water and boats across it. Wow!! Oldest suspension bridge in the US!! Quaint free little Museum located on the New York side.

Beautifully refurbished and preserved historical aqueduct from the DNH canal built in 1843 by the designer and builder of the Brooklyn bridge Mr Roebling himself. Enjoy the beautiful views and the natural beauty all around you. Then while on the Pennsylvania side head north just a short distance up to the Zane Gray museum and boat launch where the Lackawaxen River joins the Delaware River for some world-class fishing, swimming, boating, water fun for all ages. Highly recommend.

Our friend suggested that we go there. He had gone there while taking a motorcycle ride. And thought it was a cool place. So my fiance and I went. It's a historical site that you should go see. With a beautiful view!! We will definitely be going to visit again!!
