First time in the area and came upon this place in a random search. The search was a huge success as my experience was fantastic. Fun atmosphere with live music. My server was outstanding. Food was amazing (wings were perfectly cooked). Trails to Ales Brewery will definitely be a routine stop when I travel to this area in the future!

Had dinner on a Friday night, although very busy the staff were very attentive and super nice. I had the pickle pizza....best pizza I've had in a while. The crust was perfectly crisp, the toppings didn't slide off great balance of flavor. I definitely recommend. Props to the amazing pizza slinger Nathan and our awesome waitress Brittany.
Would definitely return. 👍
Pizza photo isn't the greatest, I had already stuffed my face before thinking of snapping one.

This place has the best Seltzers. So flavorful and easy to drink. The food was also great! We shared two appetizers with friends. Highly recommend to visit this small town brewery!

Stopped after biking on the Sandy Creek rail trail. 16 miles out and back, beautiful trail.

Fantastic dinner, delicious beer, homemade ranch and fresh cut fries, beautiful sunset!

The food, the service, the atmosphere - I can't find the words that would properly convey our experience, it's such a joy to find a place like this!!! Last time I was in Franklin was in the late 70's, what wonderful town!!! Jessica is the young lady who took care of us, thank you Jessica, she is a joy, we will be back!!!

2yrs later:

I think Toby had fun with his card filling his own cup. Surprised him to see it is only 3.47¢. Pay by the weight? 🤣🤣awesome band Blue Siren. They need to come to Austin. We had dinner at #1, walked to #2, saw the band, Blue Siren. Some other known bands was in town, they happened to be at our hotel. We had breakfast together. 🤣🤣🤣 Cool town. We’ve been on the road for 11 days, left Austin drove to Rhode Island, and back, we’re house hunting. I’m sick of Texas. Sorry, I’m not at home there. We try to make it an adventure. We stop at the most random places during our travels. We travel for the local pub n grub. We were both happy with our meals. Server was awesome.

Very busy on 12/26... call ahead for a reservation! Started with a (meh) french onion soup. A bit bland, but at least it wasn't too salty. The highlights were the potato chips and the wild mushroom pizza. Ridiculously good.

This is absolutely one of the nicest places in Franklin - the service is great, the atmosphere is comfortable, and the beer is some of the best in PA. We make sure to hit the Trail as often as we can when we're in town!

Best burger I've had out in a long time. Their hummus was incredible, too. Would definitely go back if I'm ever passing through again.

Wow wow wow! Very cool place and amazing food. I've been twice during lunch. The bread bowl dip was good and had all 4 of us wanting a second. The Cuban was on point. The mustard made the sandwich. The cheesesteak was awesome as well. Highly recommend!

I could sit here and drink 10 beers everyday and tell you how awesome this place is and all the employees. Or you could come check for yourself.

Awesome, outstanding service on our 32nd wedding Anniversary. Can’t go wrong with the Dill Pickle or Wild Mushroom wood-fired pizza.

Food is a bit pricey but that mostly due to all meat being local. In fact, I believe everything is local and is in house fresh. Food is great and drinks are amazing. I've yet to go and check out the other location but nonetheless, I recommend this place for sure.

I love finding new places that surprise me with their food or service. This is one of those neat little places that doesn’t disappoint. Excellent food, awesome beer choices and efficient, friendly staff all work together to make this a great experience . Our cute, I think, masked waitress was the perfect mix of there when we needed her and gone when we didn’t. I highly recommend the blueberry wheat beer and mushroom pizza. But all of our dishes were excellent. We’ll be back and I suggest you visit too, well worth the trip.

Wonderful beers some are less flavorful than others and I didn't enjoy the one but they let you have a sample so I was able to find a beer I liked the soft pretzel is a nice little snack and has four dipping sauces so it's good to share. The ribs and mac and cheese are huge!

Went back tried the pizza and the Cuban both were excellent upgraded from 4 to 5 stars also the lady behind the bar is working her bottom off! Was clear they were short staffed she did not let it effect anyone's experience.

Smaller brewery with lots of different styles of beer. Quality also. Blueberry wheat was tart but good and aged Irish red was excellent. Pizza looked yummy
