Texas Lunch

I'm from Sunbury and had to be in the area tonight and passed by this place many times, always wanting to stop in. Tonight was the night. Loved the place!!! Very relaxing, extremely clean, excellent food, great service. Will definitely be stopping here again!!!

I've had a lot of Texas Hots, and this was one of the best. Excellent fresh cut fries added to the excellence.
That's 5 stars compared with other hot dog places; it's still basically a lunch counter... it's a very good one!

Nostalgic, small town atmosphere with the best service! We ordered breakfast, ate, and were out in 15 minutes. It was a perfect "fast food" breakfast, without being typical fast food. We love The Texas!

I Always Have To Go Here An Get A Growler When I'm Home Visiting My Family And They Are Still Delicious. My fiance Got A Bacon Egg And Cheese Sandwich From There Today But I Didn't Get A Picture Of That But He Said It Was Better Than The One He Had From Sheetz Gas Station Yesterday. I Really Wish I Would Have Gotten The Name Of The Two People Working Today Because They Was Very Friendly Nice

Nice small town Main Street appeal to go along with good food and friendly service. We stopped for breakfast and enjoyed the food...good pancakes, excellent bacon 🥓 and a delicious Greek omelet. There was only one server so not the fastest service but she couldn't have been nicer. The space is adorable old school diner motif with booths and counter seating. Great location right on Lock Haven's main street.

I brought a whole group of guys here a few years ago early in the morning for breakfast while we were on a motorcycle trip. We loved the atmosphere and were well fed! Great place, portions, and people. Don't miss it!

A wonderful diner with amazing Texas hotdogs. Not fancy but you will not leave hungry with the large portions. A must visit in Lock Haven!

Awesome place for lunch! This landmark establishment in downtown lock haven has been a staple for delicious diner food for years! Their burgers and sandwiches are great, fresh cut fries, and retro diner atmosphere make this a nice stop. The famous growler with the delicious meat sauce is worth a try! The salads are huge and tasty and prices are great!

Outstanding waitresses outstanding service outstanding food I don't know what else to say. This place has been in business longer than I can remember which is like when I was 2 years old which was a long time ago. The only thing I can say is I'm upset with the business hours cutting so short in the past five or so years maybe longer? Cause they used to cater to the drunk crowd at 2 a.m. they no longer do it over the fights and liability I cannot blame them but I miss their food on Sunday evenings or just randomly when they were open 24/7? Best place in Lock Haven Pa to eat a great meal!

Onion rings better than Burger King, great service, chicken tenders are delicious with buffalo sauce, sodas are great they definitely clean the machine!

I love their steak sandwich, it is the best steak in town! Other favorites are the hot sausage with peppers and onions, the French fries, and of course the Texas hotdogs! Their breakfasts are also the best in town. I would just move in if they would let me!

Great food ar a great price!

Food was great and service was friendly and quick. The cook even complimented me on putting honey mustard on a buffalo chicken sandwich and said it smelled amazing while he made it. Would definitely recommend the specialty hot dogs as well

Good inexpensive breakfast place. Quick service, food is cooked well. No fuss, no drama. Great for college students!

I always get the hotdogs with the Texas sauce with bacon added with a side of gravy fries really good getting hungry just thinking about them.

My boys and I go to Texas lunch a few days a week before school and we always have a positive experience. Jackie is usually our waitress and she never fails to make the service exceptional. I would definitely recommend this local diner to anyone that visits town. Great people and friendly atmosphere!!
