I'd like to give them a better rating because they are nice guys and they did have a shop destroyed by fire,but i cant.

James built 2 guns for me. 1 a heavy barreled 28nosler with a bench rest stock that never achieved the accuracy i expected. The secon was a 6.5x 300wby that i supplied a Weatherby action and brux barrel and set of custom dies for. Well the barrel was cut for a remington action and installed into the Weatherby (not sure how but ok). when the gun came it did so with praise about how well it shoots andwithout the dies, but i was assured they would be sent. My trip to the range should have been an indicator as the gun was grouping about 6" at 100yds. first thing i did was change the scope and then the ammo but the groups just slowly grew in size. This is when they had their fire and were essentially out of business, so the gun was shipped to another smith who immediately identified the problem not only with the threads but the chamber reaming. The new smith saved the action, added a trigger and a new barrel and i have a .5moa gun now. knowing what was wrong with the gun i contacted James and he assured me it was a misunderstanding that John cut the threads and assumed it was for a remington. He apologized and offered to replace their work (i had already paid for) with a 250savage built on a mauser action. This gun however never showed up because it was apparently lost in a flood. At that time i was assured my dies were fine and would be shipped, they never came. Additional correspondence with them ended with if you send a box with a return address ill ship the dies to you... that box never came back either.
