The Lake Store

They had everything we needed when picking up some extra camping supplies. Great place for food staples as well!

This store had everything we needed, fresh delicious coffee in the morning, ice cream treats, even VEGETARIAN baked beans!

This is a great little lake and camp store. It has more than what I would consider basics for food, the staff and owner are very friendly. They also have a great stock of items you may have forgotten when you left to go camping.
We visit here every time we stay in the promised land state park.

For some reason I love this little old shop and we bike there once or twice a day while saying in the park. We have bought a lot of out fishing stuff and camping supplies here. We bought some cheap aluminum cooking stuff at a big box store one summer only to go buy the cast iron stuff here and it was worth it. The also have good sandwiches and everything that you forgot while packing and is a good place to stop for an ice cream cone. The staff is friendly, helpful and I can't wait to say hi to them tomorrow for the first of many camping trips in the area this summer.

Keep in mind that this is not Walmart, Giant, or any of your other local, fully stocked grocery stores. It's a lake store nestled in the mountains. If you're camping or passing through they will have what you need. The prices are not at all inflated even considering they cater mostly to a tourist crowd. The staff are all extremely kind and helpful. After a weekend roughing it or battling bugs, you'll be more than pleased with your visit to the lake store.

A trip to the cabin pretty much always means a trip to the Lake Store for ice, s'mores, or something else we've forgotten! They have just about anything you'd need for a quaint little store.

Exactly what you need for where you are. The market has necessities, a deli counter, tackle, camping supplies (for when you forgot your propane, percolator or rope...) and coffee (to hold you over until you put said propane and percolator to use). Friendly, helpful staff.

Everything you need from groceries, camping gear you forgot, ice, firewood, Hershey's Ice Cream, and novelties. Staff is friendly. Been coming here for 15 years. We do miss the rotisserie chickens, though.

Family owned for a long time, 15-20 years maybe. Picture Promised Land without a lake store! Very happy to have this place and this family in this community.
