Allenwood Cafe

I'm addicted to the brisket mac & cheese (buffalo chicken on the Mac was good too)!! I enjoyed everything else I've tried, I just can't enough of the mac.
Only suggestion to the restaurant is to add some reflective strips or lights where you drive in. At night it's very easy to miss

Very good service good is not goof I order beef stack and they give me beef burgers

The food is excellent. The staff are very friendly. The menu has a large selection with 8-10 sides. The prices are lower than most restaurants.

Very clean and quite cafe..food was really good. Menu has a nice variety. And plenty of deserts..

As they say” Always go where the locals go” and the locals go here!!! They try to keep it that way by only having 1 sign by the parking lot entrance and you have to guess what door to enter. They have 2 dining areas where you seat yourself. We had breakfast here which came out quick, fresh, hot, and delicious. The service was excellent. If you are in the area, definitely worth a stop.

food was perfect! they seemed short staffed but never failed in service. my mother ,my daughter and I all had a big breakfast and paid just 21 dollars best breakfast I had out in a long time!!

The staff were friendly, the food was good with decent portion sizes that seem consistent for the prices. The only thing is this seems to be a regulars only kind of place so the dirty looks from the other patrons seems to be a guarantee in the couple times I have been there. Small space and people think they are talking quietly but voices carry so there was a fair amount of critique of me and disapproval over my being there that I actually got to hear but I am not easily offended and others eating is really of little importance to what I think about a restaurant. I have returned a couple times because I like the food and I plan to continue to do so when I am looking for a good meal on my way through.

I would give 4.5 stars just cause they should have a little more help in there. Two of us ate for under 20 bucks (with drinks). Doesn't look like much from the outside but it was very good home cooking. Waitress was very friendly and the food was relatively quick coming out.

Always busy. The food is always good. Hot & fresh. Friendly service. It's a great gathering place for the communities of Montgomery, Allenwood, Dewart, Watsontown and White Deer. I particularly enjoy their baked corn and turkey club platter. I would recommend to anyone traveling through the area or visiting.

I love diners.... and this one is above most! Very nice young waitress and food came out quick. Don't go to a diner expecting flame boiled tuna with grilled seaweed... be realistic ppl... good food, good price and quick service!

Stopped here for dinner on a road trip, and from the outside the place looks uninhabited. Don't let it fool you! Many locals we're eating inside. The waitress definitely knew everyone, and was friendly and attentive. The pace here moves a bit slower, but it's very homey. I had the meatloaf and it was wonderful! Portion sizes were great and pie for dessert was delicious! Don't skip the pie.

This is our favorite diner. Usually go for breakfast but love lunch and dinner here too. The staff is amazing and always pleasant. Very organized and accommodating. The food is as traditional diner as it gets. Great value too.

Nice friendly service. Clean and food was good. Prices are good for the serving you get. It was my first time there but there were quite a few regulars there.
