Just spent a lovely weekend at your campground! Your location is excellent. Staff was friendly and available. Bath houses were in great shape! My only suggestion would be more places to put your belongings in the bath house when your showering. Whether it's more hooks or shelving, it would be seriously appreciated. Otherwise, no complaints!! We hope to return next year!

A Hidden Gem Along the Delaware River -

We recently stayed at this campsite and were absolutely delighted by the experience. The new managers truly set this place apart. They were warm, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable about the local area, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

One of the highlights for us was how pet-friendly the campsite is. Our furry friends had as much fun as we did, exploring the scenic beauty of the place. The location of the campsite along the gorgeous Delaware River offers a tranquil and picturesque setting that is hard to beat.

For nature enthusiasts, the campsite's proximity to several stunning waterfalls like Dingmans Falls, Bushkill Falls, Raymondskill Falls, and Buttermilk Falls, is a dream come true. We spent our days hiking and exploring these natural wonders, and each was more breathtaking than the last.

Lastly, it's evident that the new owners are committed to enhancing the camping experience. They have a plethora of great ideas to advance and better the place, and we can't wait to see what they do next.

Overall, if you're looking for a serene getaway with a touch of adventure, this is the perfect spot. We're already planning our next visit!

Campground has new owners and they couldn’t be more friendly. The sites was clean, comfortable. Place was beautiful. We were a few families coming from the city, some of us never camped before. Everyone wants to go again - was a fun experience.

The campsites are shady and level with lots of room. Nice picnic tables. Clean bathrooms with lots of hot water in the shower. Check in was easy. The cashier was very friendly and helpful. The camp store had a nice variety of snacks at very reasonable prices. The view of the river is spectacular. We saw 5 eagles. It's very close to several waterfalls. My favorite place to kayak is Dingmans to Bushkill. Lots of class one Rapids and beautiful views. We are going back next week to ride our e-bikes on the McDade Trail.

Dingmans campground has sites for all tastes. They have open grass field sites, tree canopy sites, down by the river sites, or hidden tucked in sites if you want to be more secluded. If you are someone who needs a bathroom/shower I recommend the sites higher up from the river. The sites by the river have access to porter potties but the walk to the main bathroom is not far and it is nice to take a walk around the camground. There are hiking trails all around and waterfalls to visit. The new owner was very helpful during our visit and has great ideas he has to improve the campground. Becky in the main office was very kind over the phone when setting up my reservation.

Had a great time last weekend at Dingmans Campground. The campsites were huge and had plenty of room. Easy access to back the camper right in. Went hiking on the Mcdade trail right from our campsite and Dingmans falls was less than a minute drive.

Great and quiet campground. Super clean, there are portable bathrooms and plenty of parking. I was there off season, so there were not too many people, but camps are spread throughout so it's not that you bother each other much. Will definitely return.

We were just there this past weekend. It was our families first time staying at this campground and we weren't disappointed. The staff was amazing, our campsite was just perfect. We were in close proximity to the front office, bathrooms, and a short walk to the river. The office had everything needed if you ran out of something. They offered wood delivery to your site and even brought our ice down for us. We were in driving distance to the trailheads as well as a cute little town called Milford. And for those looking to not leave the campground, this place was perfect for that too. The views of the river were spectacular. It was monitored well by the park rangers at night as well as the owners who made rounds at night. They even asked our neighbors to tone down their extremely bright LED lights that literally looked like daylight on their site at night and those around, it is camping it is supposed to be dark at night. LOL
Can't wait to go back again, it was absolutely wonderful!!!

Beautiful place nice people the girl Nicole at the desk was amazing. She helped very much. Not only with taking my reservation that I didn’t know how to do online but also helped when I got there with my family and my kids to go to waterfalls and places around there. My dog loved the area. My kids were so happy running around we stayed on the river. The view was beautiful. Thank you for this day. We will be back.

Very spacious in comparison to other local campgrounds. New owners work hard to make your stay enjoyable and are in the process of adding many new ideas and activities. Huge improvements within a few weeks of ownership change and excited to see what’s in store!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! This is the best place to stay in the whole water gap area. It's a great place to bring the entire family icluding your dogs and relax. The two young men that own the camping site are very involved, helpful knowledgeable of everything in the camping site. If any issues come up they aim in resolving the issue quickly, with one goal in mind, making your stay as pleasant as possible! They are also very knowledgeable of different activities happening in the area. They are also planning on adding rafting and kayacks for water entertainment.
I'll go back and I recomend if you haven't done so, plan a trip and go, you'll love it as much I did.

I am writing this review as a camper that has camped at over 75 campgrounds throughout the country (I'm in my 30s)...

Somethings I want to address:
Seems as though people are unhappy with the bathrooms. I personally felt that they were the cleanest campground bathrooms I've seen in a while. Its a campground with dirt, bugs, dirty people, mud, etc... Im not sure what you expect. You will never get a Hilton bathroom at a campground. The stalls for the toilets and showers were clean to me! Only thing I saw that someone could complain about was dead bugs on the sink counter from the lights at night, however that was early in the morning and when I went back in in the afternoon, they were cleaned.

Another on going issue I see people upset about is noise. It seems as though its a great campground for large groups to have a good time. HOWEVER, if you can and will move spots, they will let you. And there are MANY spots that are peaceful and quiet (if they arent full). Most of the noise is at the river, so stay away from the river if you want a quiet spot.

My review:
We arrived on Friday at around 3PM, check in time is 2PM. We were greeted with smiles and friendly kind tones. The general store is where you have to go to check in, and the ladies in there are super friendly. The general store also has items you may have forgotten or you may need without having to drive ten minutes for them. They even provide a wood delivery service to you campsite. Checking in was easy peasy!
From checking in we began our drive to our river spot. It was right next to a large group and I knew we wouldn't be happy there. We are a small family that loves nature and quietness. So we drove back to see if we could switch spots. They happily showed us what spots are available and let us go drive around to check them out before we picked the next spot. We found a spot we were really happy with and drove back to let them know. They easily gave us our new spot and refunded the difference between the river spot and non river spot. The spot we picked was at a dead end with trail bike access, which was perfect bc we brought our trail bikes for that trail. We fortunately didn't have anyone come in next to us the whole time and the two that did come in a few spots away were pretty quiet people. So we had a fabulous quiet spot. The only noise I could hear was a bit of the cars zooming by from the highway. But thats not in their control.
The river access is wonderful, theres no swimming but you can wade, you can also skip rocks, canoe, kayak, and river tube.
With river and bike trail access and a small 5 minute drive to Dingmans Falls this place was perfect for us!

Thank you Dingmans Campground for one of the best camping trips we have had!

Couldn’t have been more at peace while spending a night at this beautiful campground! The staff was outstanding and welcoming. Bathrooms were very clean! Also Shout out to Hunter, he has a personality that would light up a room and is always there to help with any of your needs in order to make your stay perfect! I would recommend these grounds again and again!!! Will 100% be back, be safe campers 👍🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

We were traveling through the area mid-week and this was a lovely place we chose for our camper for the night. The girl at the desk was nice. Never saw a ranger, but he may have been patrolling in his own vehicle. Very quiet. No issues. Not a lot of campers. Overall great experience!

We arrived late in the evening but the owner just happened to be there. He showed us to our space and helped get the RV backed in. The ladies working in the office/store were absolutely wonderful! Very friendly and helpful. We spent time each day visiting with them. This is NOT a hotel. It's a campground.

Great spot, fire wood was grossly overpriced and had a lot of moisture so didn’t burn well through the night but they did offer delivery to our site, they had a cute movie night on a blow up projector in a field and lot of games as well as river access. Staff was honest, friendly and helpful. Would recommend despite being a little pricey.

One of the best campgrounds I’ve been to! Helpful staff and gorgeous place to stay to unwind. Close river and waterfall access and a great bike trail. The campground store had everything we needed so we never had to leave. Highly highly recommend!
