Downtown Scoop

We went during a neighborhood market when it was very busy so I’m sure it was more of a unique overly packed experience. But overall the staff was nice, and this little ice cream shop packs big flavor. Each of the ice cream flavors I tried were all very smooth and creamy with a pop of rich flavor. Very high quality ice cream.

What a gem Downtown Scoop is for the Souderton community! Their ice cream is decadent and always comes in a really great variety of flavors, including vegan options. Their staff is always so kind, as is the owner, Kevin. Could not more highly recommend Downtown Scoop!

Hands down the best ice cream I’ve ever had. Lots of choices including vegan ice cream. It’s a super trendy spot with an incredibly friendly and welcoming team. You can sit at tables outside, enjoy your ice cream, and make new friends.

We have been fans of DTS ever since they opened and we were thankful enough to have them at our wedding this past August 2023! They were so easy to work with, answered emails and questions so kindly and quickly. I continue to hear from my guests how perfect of a treat it was and how great the service was.. and the ice cream of course!

Ice cream was great. I'm mad I didn't get a Sundae. I went with a scoop of peanut butter with a scoop of toasted coconut on the bottom in a waffle cone (of course).

Next time I'm going for a Toasted Coconut with Strawberry.

Worth the visit!

This place was AMAZING. I literally prefer it more then the ice cream place that is right next to me. You have to come to this place. Ice cream is so good, and the milkshakes are even better. This place is so good and I tell all my friends and family to come here. I recommend coming here. (Your ice cream is the best)

I had Downtown Scoop's mobile trailer come to my company's office for an outdoor company event and it was a huge success! We had a vendor cancel on us 24 hours before the event, so I frantically called Downtown Scoop to see if they could be there the next day. Angie and Kevin were incredibly understanding, flexible, and worked with me to get something secured for the event. They are such kind and genuine people to work with. During the event, I was very impressed with the entire set up. The trailer is adorable and so nicely put together that Kevin was set up in no time to start serving. The ice cream was delicious and you could tell it was fresh. They had 6 flavors available for our employees, which was plenty. If you are looking to book for an event, I highly recommend. Great people, and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be calling Downtown Scoop for future events!!

Super cute ice cream place! I got the salted caramel Vermont ice cream sundae and it had bacon, caramel, and whipped cream on it. Everything tasted high quality. And it was definitely worth the money.

Great ice cream at a fair price, these guys do a great job. I especially enjoy their sundaes (San Francisco and Vermonter). It's a small place but worth the wait if there is a line. Wish they were open on Sunday!

Love, love, love the Downtown scoop! Super friendly staff and delicious ice cream. In fact the best in the area as far I'm concerned. We had the cappuccino crunch (my favorite), pumpkin, black raspberry, and vanilla and all were delicious. Also serve great coffees.

Definitely worth a visit. Scrumptious ice cream. Check the hours before you go.

Delicious ice cream and absolutely sweet and capable service!

I recently visited this superb place on a hot Monday night and was immediately impressed by what I saw. From the outside the shop casts a quaint town look that causes you to feel compelled to enter. Once you walk into the door, your gaze is drawn to the various unique furnishings and decorations that fill the shop. From the hand drawn menu board to the soft lighting to the modern shaped stools at the window, everything emits an air of newness and yet also a sense of homely welcome. The staff and patrons alike treat you warmly, greeting you with a smile and showing the friendliness that the shop desires to bring. The youthful employees expertly handle all inquiries and do everything to make your visit enjoyable.

While I feel that the prices of certain things are higher than they should be, I must say that the cost is well worth the time spent. You can go to Dairy Queen and get a milkshake for less, but can you also find an atmosphere that is anywhere near equal to this place? I'd venture to say not. I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent at the Downtown Scoop and hope to find an opportunity to visit it again. If you are questioning visiting it next time around, why wait? Happiness is just a scoop away!
