I was actually at the GPI.

If you report a physical assault, they punish you for "being involved in a fight." Their statistics look better if they punish victims for reporting incidents. They also punish advanced students if they won't "slow down and stay with the class." They want the state funds for keeping students in class every year possible. If you are ready for college at age 14 or 15 they will fight to force you to stay enrolled and not allow you to advance if you are ready. They will regurgitate the same idiocy for years and expect you to stay engaged...and if you want to learn anything else, the teachers will ridicule you. Teachers aware of kids who assault others will intentionally press children, on threats of discipline, to go to unsupervised areas with the "problem kids" and tell the frightened child that they "have to learn to deal with it." This is a great followup to when kids are afraid to go somewhere and the teachers tell them to "learn to run faster" if they don't want to be beaten up.

If you actually care about your kids, don't ever put them into this school. It is a poison. But if you are a useless and stupid redneck who wants to see if your kid can punch a lot of nerds who may actually have a future, this is the place for you.
