Gianna is great serving and advising. Please is old looking but food is delicious. I can say the Philly cheese steak is the best!

Lou’s is a great place to stop in for a fast and delicious bite to eat. They’re probably best known for their “Zep” sandwich but you can grab other sandwiches, cheesesteaks etc. Stepping into Lou’s can offer up a bit of nostalgia along with the tasty food. The counter space and interior will take you back in time to an old school luncheonette type environment that is enjoyable to sit at while eating in or waiting to get your food to go. On this particular visit, I grabbed a cheesesteak with American and fried onions. It was delicious as usual. A Conshohocken Bakery long roll with a substantial amount of tender steak, plenty of perfectly melted cheese and they weren’t shy with the fried onions. Definitely hit the spot. While Lou’s may not be on everyone’s cheesesteak radar, they are well worth consideration!

Best spot to get a cheesesteak in all of philly. They are truly rated as a 5 star shop. Service is impeccable and being from another state, i still had the home feeling when here. Food is top notch and the vibes are great. Definitely a spot to check out when in philly!

Came here with my uncle and girlfriend for lunch. We were in for a treat. This place is definitely one of those secret restaurants that have been lost in time. The decor, vibe, taste, and service were all great and reminiscent of an old and classic era 😍

We had a cheesesteak zep combo which was stuffed to the brim and amazing as well as a fried fish sandwich accompanied by some fried with a cheese dip. All to die for and perfectly on point.

They had a very enticing ice cream shake on the menu, but sadly it was their last day of that week open so they had run out of milk. I’m looking forward to next time.

One of my old school stops from when I was a kid. Gotta love Lou's!! And always go with the same thing...tuna zep with tons of hoagie spread!

You will not be disappointed by Lou’s! Their pancakes are the best in town — and maybe in the state!! Cheesesteak Zep is delicious. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Old school diner atmosphere is really cool. 10/10 recommend, whether you go for breakfast or lunch.

My family has been in Norristown for a long time and my father would tell me how he was at Lou's when it first opened. Pop moved on, and I live out of town now, but I still return to Lou's a few times a year for the BEST zep in town. It's an old tradition to eat a whole zep for the Eagles opener, which I can still do and surprisingly, feel good about it. Eat at Lou's and GO BIRDS!

An old-school sandwich shop in Norristown that has great service and great prices.

I got the cheesesteak, Italian hoagie, and some fries. Everything was simple, yet delicious.

Stop by if you’re in the area.

This is an excellent diner serving fantastic cheesesteaks, burgers, zeps, and milkshakes. Been around since 1941...great old school vibe still making milkshakes with the machines from the 50s. Friendly staff...steaks and zeps some of the best around. Prices are excellent, great value.

When we worked in the KoP area, this was by far our favorite place for lunch. A little hole in the wall, mom and pop joint, that has hands down, the BEST cheesesteaks I've ever had!

This neighborhood staple probably hasn’t changed a single thing since 1941, and that is perfectly fine with me! All original down to the table we sat at. I got two zeps, because, why not? One tuna, one steak - ALL the onions. Mmmm. Whenever I want a classic sammy, this is where I’ll be.

Places like Lou's Sandwich Shop I like to call "Time Warps" and one notices as soon as the enter and sees the counter, stools and booths.
If you come for the Zep you will not be disappointed.

One of two competing “zep” spots in Norristown, this one is on Main Street and as such parking is a little harder.

However, it is worth it because the zep here is really excellent. The steak zep is good if you want a little more weight in the sandwich but the classic is the way to go! There is table/bar service so grab a chair. Very friendly vibe

I got the cheesesteak. Well deserved spot on Philly Mags 30 must eat Cheesesteaks. after a day of shopping at king of prussia mall or biking at Valley Forge park, head over to Lou's for a cool vibe and great cheesesteak. Check his hours of operations first because I think he closes early
