Duck Inn Taproom

Sat outside, bit loud, nice heat from the fire. Had the duck "wings" I think they were drumsticks. Pretty good. Fish and chips, the fish had a hard crust.

After walking on the Perkiomen trail (from Central Valley Park) I was very hungry. The large red building across the creek looked friendly and inviting. You can drive, walk, or bike over a bridge to the Gravel Pike location.
I loved the fun and laidback atmosphere along the water. The building is welcoming as is the staff. I was seated at a table on the patio where I could look down at the trail and the Perkiomen below. The waitress was friendly and helpful. I ordered the fried fish (haddock) and chips which was accompanied by cole slaw and tartar sauce. It was delicious, the portion large, and I took half of my meal to go.
In addition to indoor and outdoor dining there’s a circular bar with many TVs for sports watching and camaraderie. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. You can even buy yellow duck t-shirts, long sleeved and hoodies.
The Duck Inn was the perfect place to rest and enjoy the afternoon before heading home. But……I will be back!!!

This place is amazing. This is the first time I was here. I brought my son. They have the inside with the bar and another section for eating and it has a shuffle board table. My son was in it for hours. They have an outside area and it has 3 sections. One of the sections is out by the creek. They have a canoe and kayaks you can take out. You can feed the ducks. They also have free popcorn and peanuts. I'm excited to go back without my little one.

I just think this is what a taproom should be! On the river and great views. Better than average menu, with great sandwiches. The beer selection is awesome. The prices are reasonable. Our server was on it!

Found this place after all the places we wanted to go were full with long wait times. From the second we walked in, the people were so friendly. The service was excellent!!! We ordered the $20 rib special and couldn’t believe the amount of food we got. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

What an amazing place this has become. I was a regular here back in the twentieth century and even canoed here a few times. It was an outstanding dive in the 1970s-80s. NOW it's a cheerful pub overlooking the Perkiomen Creek. Nice pub menu, friendly and prompt service for weekday lunch. Food was fine and they still serve Goods Potato Chips (cooked in lard - rare treat)! Kudos to the Duck Inn. Stunning renovation and a wonderful pub.

Such a cute restaurant! I have been here twice, once for drinks and once for a meal. I love the dock and the kayaks. The multiple levels outside are very cool as well. We were able to bring our dog into the outdoor part of the restaurant.

Great Atmosphere! Great Venue! Great food! Great Service! Great employees! Duck Inn will be on our “go-to” hit list of select restaurants. Thank you Duck Inn:)

Everything was absolutely phenomenal. Each dish was a delight. Marlene is one of the best servers we've had the pleasure to meet and you'll never need anything, she's always right there with your drinks. Highly recommend!

6 of us went for lunch. Cheese steak hoagies, BLT, Norristown zeps, beer and sodas.They were loaded with meat and prices were reasonable. Megan our waitress was very attentive. We sat outside and it was very pleasant with the ceiling fans. It was very busy but we didn't wait overly long for our food to arrive.

Love this place. My wife and I or sometimes just myself ride our ebikes here from Green lane on the perkiomen trail. They have a bike rack out front so u can lock them up. Food and drinks are great and reasonably priced. The deck by the creek is the best part.

My group off 14 met at The Duck Inn today for lunch. Our waitress was named Tori. She was an excellent waitress. Everyone was pleased about the service, food, price and atmosphere. (It is not always easy to get a large group to agree to all of those demands!) Thank you for such a a great experience at lunch. Thanks again to your staff, especially Tori. We will be back.

Only been a few times.
Last time I was there it had been over a year since the last visit. Bartender remembered my name and my flavor of beer. I was super impressed!

First time visiting! Three of us grabbed a table in the main inside bar area for some drinks & apps. Food was delicious and service was friendly. Only complaint would be the drinks weren’t that strong even ordering doubles and pretty loud inside . Would love to come back in the daytime to see the outside area.

Fun place, nice seat overlooking the Perkiomen Creek. Had Duck wings and mussels in garlic wine butter broth. Loved the mussels, liked the wings.

Great place...decent food (free popcorn)....drinks are good and well priced...but the selling point is the deck...my kids love it

The patio is large and multi level and if you tube or kayak in for lunch or drinks...you Can.

Wish I knew about this place sooner. Always looking for a good place with outdoor seating. Duck Inn has it all, great views, live music, good food, great service.

Love the outdoor seating… by the water. Drink was delicious and very reasonable. Lunch special fish sandwich was good wasn’t expecting the cold slaw on top of it … but it tasted delicious. Fries wasn’t anything special probably frozen from bag and deep fried . Price was definitely right. Had a delicious carrot cake . A wonderful surprise at a bar.
