Coney Island Lunch

What a treat! I ordered 1 Coney dog and a Coney Island burger. Perfection! Stwamed onions, coney Island chili , mustard on the burger. This establishment has been open since 1918..104 years. The owner was so much fun. He was very personable. Do yourself a favor and go here. Date of visit 8/12/22.

Ageless family run landmark, and a staple in the community serving Shamokin/Coal Township are. Coney burgers and dogs are legendary. Just walk in and say "I up, 1 down" and see for yourself!

The guys behind the counter are super cool. Our first time there was a good time and then we went to the train display at the library. Will be back for sure.

The best burger in town for under $5.00

The atmosphere of this place is incredibly unique. Hot dogs with chili and onions are a must. The lady serving our group of 10 adults and 5 kids was extremely helpful and nice to us. Fantastic!

Use to go here with my mother sooo many years ago. So in memory of her i had a couple burgers! It's still the same and oh so good!

A great little spot that you have to experience to understand. I think they have been here over 100 years, and the interior feels like little has changed during that time. I love that. If you have trouble finding them just follow your nose to the right street navigating towards the mountain of onions on the grill. A true classic. Never change! Great soda, burgers, and dogs.

Always a pleasure to stop here. The ladies are always so welcoming and sweet. Place has such a vintage interior. Burgers are awesome!

I love Coney Island. I've been eating there since I was a tiny little girl n my parents would bring home boxes of coney. Still to this very day, they put out the exact same food, same quality, same faces. Their always super pleasant, and quick. The food is basic but good. Not much to pick from. But what more do you need. This place is a staple in Shamokin. We look forward to many many more years of eating at this amazing restaurant! If you haven't been in to Coney Island lunch.... you are missing out......

Absolutely love the Coney, and now the Christmas Tree is up and decorated. A Christmas tradition is eating near the tree with those you love.

Been going here since I was a kid..I am 57yrs old..my Mom and Uncle love this place for years.

I absolutely love coming to Coney Island, the whole experience has always been amazing. Though I have to say I do miss having Miss Pac-Man there, and a few other items for the atmosphere. But everything else is fantastic. The staff are very attentive and can tell you a lot about the history of Coney. Everybody should check this place out!

This burger/dog joint is a step back in time, with a griddle in the front window, and old school interior. Try the One Up with sauce.

You can not go wrong with Coney Island. If you're from the coal region.... you have had coney a time or 100. The people inside are the sweetest. The burgers and dogs taste the exact same as they have all my life. The atmospheres great! And of course at Christmas time. You Have to go in and check out the coney tree!!!!

One of my favorite places to go when I'm home. We ordered extra burgers to take home to Florida because their Yankee burgers are the best. Great service, great food, great prices and very clean place to eat.

Burgers were great,I let them cool off a little and the flavor comes through. Great people there,friendly,will be going back again. Huge Christmas tree makes it worthwhile. Been going there over 60years.
