Mom's Real Italian Water Ice has the classic small business feel and gives you all that you pay for and more. The flavors here are fantastic, and the staff are very friendly. I'd definitely recommend stopping by.

The best kind of small town local Italian ice and ice cream shop. Lots of great flavors and always served with great customer service. They take cash or Venmo, and the portions are generous. It does get a nightly line, but the line moves quickly.

Reasonable pricing since it is not a franchise. A local favorite ... and rightfully so.

Haven't been here in years since I left the area. It was very nostalgic coming back here. We always came here a lot when my children were young. The soft ice cream is just as good as I remember!! My son loved his mango water ice as well.

I never write reviews for places, but Mom’s deserves it! I have been there countless times last season and already this season. They absolutely never disappoint. Last year I thought they were open because I saw someone inside. They weren’t, but opened the window and were kind enough to give me a little bit since they had begun making things already. We went almost once a week last year and loved every visit. We’ve already been a few times since they opened for the year and it’s just a great as ever. The custard is divine, Italian ice is amazing, blueberry cheesecake ice cream is delicious, and today I tried the dole whip which is out of this world. The line is usually long, but that is just a testimony to how good everything is and it’s so worth the wait!

BEST WATER ICE EVER!!!!!! Love this little place down the street, the staff is very nice. The prices are incredible and portions are generous. They only take CASH or VENMO for anyone interested. I love the option of venmo tbh. I get their Mint Chocolate Chip Water Ice SO GOOD, my wife loves every flavor, they have these great PUP cups that our 3 dogs love ❤ so much. Both our kids love their ice cream they have both soft serve and scoop. Everything I've tried has been delicious, they have outdoor seating and overall great stop on a sunny summer day with family, friends, pets, etc.

You can probably handle a small size, they load you up on the goods

Gelato perfect blend of the best water ice I've had since I was a kid at the shore--cherry tastes like the best maraschinos and tangerine is so good you'll expect to spit out seeds. Soft serve is rich and creamy. Felt sorry for the lone woman working on that scooping very hot day that brought out every ice cream lover in the area. But, she was awesome in getting everyone's orders right. Looking forward to umbrellas on the tables so we can sit out of the blazing sun and enjoy the best part of summer with Mom's yummy cool concoctions. 🍦🍧🍨

The cashier was very nice and friendly. I needed some suggestions on popular flavors. She was very helpful on suggesting what’s selling most nowadays. They take cash and Venmo only.

We have come back many times to mom's and it is awesome. They are always nice and helpful and there water ice is terrific.

This is a wonderful, local "mom" and pop ice cream and water ice shop. Prices are amazing! Cash or Venmo for payment. HIGHLY suggest checking this place out on your next time through Hatfield.

I want to thank you guys for giving good memories to me and my grandma before she passed. We would go every couple of weeks driving by Giant.

Unfortunately the lines are a bit too long for me at this point - which is NOTHING but a compliment to your guys' business. Maybe I'll come again on a less busy day LOL.

Mom's Real Italian is the absolute BEST little ice-cream stand- hands down! There is almost always a wait and the line is almost always pretty long but it moves quite quickly (and well worth waiting). Their milkshakes and Malt's are packed with flavor that's soft and sweet- but not too sweet- combined with that perfectly smooth homemade consistency is just to die for. Their handmade Italian water ice is like nothing I've tried before. It's so soft and blended with such perfection- that it reminds me of eating freshly fallen fluffy snow as a kid! LOVEEE this place

I’m not a big water ice fan so I can’t speak for that, but my family all say Mom’s is the best they’ve had and I do love their sundaes! They never skimp on the toppings and the soft serve ice cream is amazing. The girls who work there really know what they’re doing. I’ve been there on some busy nights and despite only having two or three of them working, they’re never anything but friendly there and my order has never been wrong or poorly made. Don’t let long lines deter you, anything you get will definitely be worth a few minutes of waiting!

This is the place in town to be and get ice cream! Lots of flavors, great kids working there and you can't beat the prices!

People would complain about a business that has long lines but in this case its because this place is truly the best!

Unlike other businesses that operate on "Cash Only" but dont display that clearly can be a bit frustrating but again that's not the case here as the signs are right upfront. Venmo is good stop gap for not having to increase costs and pass them to the consumer; as noted its a lot cheaper than your traditional Ritas without skimping on quality!

The soft serve ice cream here has that creamy almost buttery quality that makes it special. I'd you like water ice (Italian ice) they have some fantastic flavors. The chocolate is amazing with chips of dark chocolate throughout. But the soft serve is a must have. Only open in the summer, and the lines in the evening can be a bit long. But it is worth the wait.

Great homemade water ice and soft serve. Not overly sweet...just right. Large servings for the prices. Cash/check only, but worth it to keep prices low and servings oversized. My first choice over Rita's every time!

Is super friendly and makes all of her own recipes. This place puts Rita's to shame. And offers a diverse and unique selection of homemade water ice as well as ice cream.
