Murphy's Loft

I had an absolutely delightful experience at I loft during my recent ski trip.

The warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant made me feel right at home. From the moment I walked in, the owner or manager (I presume) extended a truly welcoming gesture, setting the tone for the evening.

The bartender, equally friendly.

A special mention to Alex, our server, whose warmth and hospitality made the dining experience exceptional. Her attentiveness and friendly demeanor added an extra layer of enjoyment to our evening.

I highly recommend Murphy's loft for anyone looking for not just delicious food but also a welcoming ambiance and outstanding service. Thank you f or making my visit memorable!

We liked it here but it didn't WOW us. Hostess needed to be assigned elsewhere as she wasn't hostess type, not friendly. BUT ALL other staff were very very accommodating!! Inside was awesome! Drinks from bar were fabulous! 👌 We would have eaten on deck but were sheltering from heat and possible flying bugs! Ha! BLT was great! Pork ribs were good but had too much garlic for my hubby, who is allergic to cloves, which was his fault as he didn't mention it when ordering. Sweet little place to visit in Poconos

First time here. Parking can be a challenge due to the place being right on top of a busy road. Got the nachos for an appetizer. Stacked with all kinds of ingredients and definitely enough for two. For dinner we had the French dip sandwich and the Reuben Burger. Both were large portions and on point. Comes with your choice of sides and we got the sweet potato fries and the steak fries. Both were good and the steak fries were obviously homemade. Price to food value was great overall. Add in 3 beers and only came to $65. And they have a pool, which I look forward to seeing in operation at the outside bar on my return trip.

So many things to rave about. The atmosphere, the Chocolate Martini, the food! All was delicious and great portions. Definitely try the Cauliflower Wings. So good. The Cheese Steak was a hit. Breaded Deep Fried Green Beans…. Definitely stop in.
Family friendly also

When we visit, we always eat here. Love it there. Breakf and lunch is great. The quantity of the food is BIGG. U definitely pay for the food you get(left overs) love it. Peaceful here.

Excellent food and friendly quick service!

We stopped at Murphy's Loft for family early dinner 2 times in July-Aug 2022 while on vacation in Poconos. On both visits the food was consistently excellent and service was very friendly, quick, and attentive! Thank you Tammy and Raven!

Appetizers:
Regular Buffalo Wings - perfect on first visit and slightly too dry second time
Jalapeno Poppers - delicious!
Mains:
Super Steak Sandwich - delicious, perfectly done to order!
Grilled Salmon - excellent, fresh and not too dry.
Broiled Flounder - very good, fresh, and flavorful. The portion was unusually generous for a fish dish!

We highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. We’ll certainly be back on our next stay in Poconos!

1st time here. Very nice service and atmosphere. I didn't care much for the French Onion soup but the Cauliflower Wings, Buffalo Chicken Empanadas and French Fries were delicious. I'll definitely be back.

Our bartender was not only friendly but made sure we were pleased with our food and drinks. Gave great recommendations on Rueben sandwich, meatloaf and steak sandwiches. Excellent food!

I was taking a training course up in this area and got to eat here multiple times. I ate the same thing two days in a row and decided to switch it up on Day 3. Each piece of food I ate from this restaurant was just plain good!

The Sesame Chicken Salad comes with a piece of perfectly grilled chicken breast laid upon a bed of lettuce with raisins, pineapple, and mandarin orange slices sprinkled throughout. Highly recommend trying this!

The hot honey cauliflower wings are phenomenal!! They do these perfectly from the breading to the frying. Absolutely delicious.

The cheesesteak egg rolls are also pretty good but the cauliflower wings beat that. The steamers (clams) are also delicious.

The fried fish sandwich is also delicious.

Gorgeous place, Ruben burger 🍔 was delicious, highly recommend sweet potato fries.

I go there for their cheesesteaks.

I drive one hour to go there thats how good it is.

Stopped in for a few beers to kill a few minutes waiting for a friend. Bartender was helpful and knowledgeable about the beers available. I forgot to take a picture of the Korean Taquitos, but they were tasty and just a little spicy which I enjoyed a lot. Definitely a bar for the locals that are retired.

First time here. Tried on a Monday night and there was a 1.5 hour wait. Went again the next evening with a table of 6 and was seated right away. The set up was great! Felt like a cozy log cabin. We tried lots from the menu but for me the star was the roast beef. We had it with provolone and another order Au jous. It was tender juicy and sliced thin. I'll be back for more of that for sure.

After a long day sking my family was looking for something to eat. This restaurant was amazing. The food was cooked perfectly, waitress was kind and attentive. This was the icing on the cake to a great day in the Poconos!

Been here a few times now and haven't had a bad experience. Everything I have ordered here is great. The New England clam chowder is surprisingly good for the middle of the woods.

Stop on our way to our place we were rented. Inside is like a cute log cabin. Our waitress was great! Food was good normal pub food but was quick. Enjoyed it very much.

We love this place. We go every Friday night and sometimes breakfast on Saturday or Sunday. Waitresses are awesome. Our favorites are Donna, Sophia, Jill and Raven. But all are terrific.

We had lunch here. The service was great. Our server was very attentive. The food was very good. We had the cauliflower wings and the fish and chips. We will visit again when we are in the area.

Beautiful log cabin with an intriguing history and lots of character. Outdoor seating around a beautifully kept garden area or indoor bar area OR dining room with an authentic historical feel. Service was really friendly and food was great, big portions & good home-cooking. Will definitely be back again when we're in the area.

Great food and the staff took great care of us and our children, including setting up a little napping spot for our 2 year old! We'll definitely be coming back again. Thanks!!
