Variety of menu options. Large portions. Full-service bar. Very clean establishment. Friendly environment. Courteous workers. Restaurant can host events such as wedding receptions, retirement parties, birthday celebrations etc. Prices are reasonable. I will most certainly be going back again.**********Following my previous visit, I hosted a birthday celebration for my mother on August 11, 2024, and the service I experienced was as remarkable as ever. The event had just over 40 attendees. The staff attended to my guests with promptness, professionalism, and politeness. The management honored every aspect of our agreement. The cuisine was delectable, with servings ample enough to satisfy all. The party received glowing reviews, and I must acknowledge that Phil's Tavern played a significant role in its success. Should I decide to host another event, Phil's Tavern will certainly be at the top of my list. My heartfelt thanks to Phil's Tavern for contributing to the event's triumph.

Phil’s Tavern is a gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual night out or a special occasion. The food is consistently excellent—everything from the appetizers to the main courses is thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure you have everything you need without being overbearing. The drink selection is also impressive, with a variety of options to suit any taste. Pleasant pub setting. Huge menu, fair prices and excellent service. Feels like a well run local joint. Food was good. Chili and ribs! My friend had the prime rib and said ut was delicious. Gets crowded and limited parking so maybe avoid the rush. Extra parking across the street.

We had a funeral lunch at The Phil's Tavern, they were so accommodating for our group. Staff were amazing, great food selections, everyone was so pleased with their meals. Thank you, Phil's Tavern, we appreciate you all!

First time here. Great service by Patti. Food was awesome. At first nervous about the pricing. But for what we got well worth it and the food excellent. Definitely will be back. Actually cannot wait to return.

The bar gives off divey vibes. The service was great. A large menu with great selection. I ordered the salmon blt and it was a large portion . I also had the wings which were also good. The prices are affordable too!

I came in on Saint Patrick’s day with my family. We had an extraordinary time there. The portions were very large which is great for hefty eaters or people who simply want to save their food. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the kids Mac and cheese with applesauce (don’t judge) and it was delightful. The applesauce was slightly crunchy, and had cinnamon sprinkled overtop. The Mac and cheese was delicious and cheesy, I could hardly finish it all. I also had a Shirley temple with it, which tasted amazing. It tasted a bit like strawberry syrup mixed with lemonade and sprite. The service was excellent. The waiters and waitresses were so polite, and since I went there on Saint Patrick’s day, the entire staff was dressed in leprechaun outfits. They were very friendly. The atmosphere was very light and positive, with an older style feel. I 100% recommend going here.

I felt like I walked into an old time mob bar. This place is amazing. The menu is absolutely huge! And it is all good and unique. Nice beer selection on tap. And most amazing is that they were serving food until midnight on a Thursday!!! Can you say Late Night Food! Most places aren't even staying open past 10pm post Covid, and these guys have nearly full kitchen going till midnight! That is worth an extra Star! Find this place and stop in

For local bar you cant do better. Open late, vast menu and superb staff. Food is very good if u take the recommendation of the staff. Salads are huge fyi

Dinner with friends that frequent a lot. One of their favorites. Food was good. Service was amazing. Jam packed so parking can be an issue unless you know to park in the back.

We just had my father's 100th surprise birthday at his favorite restaurant Phil's Tavern. It couldn't have been run more smoothly, easily, more deliciously more importantly more friendly and all around fabulous. The staff there are amazing, attentive, and very very kind! Thank you so much everybody!!

This is definitely a local hot spot with someone inside no matter when. Great happy hour, good prices, surprisingly great food considering it looks like a pretty typical, old school bar. Great service and kind people around made me, a woman traveling alone, feel safe and comforted. Thank you and I will return!

Never disappoints. Best roast beef sandwich anywhere. The wife had a ahi tuna sandwich that was killer and the dark side of the Moon desert was literally out of this world. Love this place.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Our server Patti was knowledgeable and fun and recommended some of her favorites. The menu is large and there is something for everyone. Our food came out quick, the portions were huge and everything was delicious. Highly recommend Phil's Tavern if you like good food, a relaxing setting and friendly, personable staff.

The food here is excellent! The service is excellent. If you want to hang out grab a beer & some great food this is the place for you. If you do go please try the truffle fries they are to die for!

Excellent food, service and atmosphere! This place is classy great Philadelphia! Try the cheesesteak, and the broccoli bite and onion rings rock too!

Simply put, this was a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, the service was good and friendly oh, and we generally enjoy the atmosphere. I should also know that the meals are well priced for the quality and the quantity.

We were there for a special occasion, but we'll definitely be going back for an ordinary visit sometime in the near future. For the record, you have not lived until you've tried Jake's Salmon Burger. Do your soul a favor and try that once in your life, then try it again.

My wife and I visit here once a year, for the past 3 years, after an annual business meeting we attend in the area. Our meals are always enjoyable. From burgers with crabmeat on them, to cheesesteaks and BLTs with lobster on them, the food has always delivered wonderful flavors. The drinks are strong, and the beer is cold. The service is top notch. We always feel at home. The servers are so friendly and accommodating. We look forward to eating here anytime we are in the area.
