Bar 31

This is a quality dive bar with a nice tap selection. It can get a little crowded, but is good for finding a beer after 10pm when everything else seems to close these days.

This is the best hometown bar. I think I have ever been a great atmosphere, great people, and great prices. I can't wait to go back.

DEFINITELY a locals bar. Sometimes non-locals may "subjectively" feel a bit unwelcomed when venturing into the unknown, outside of the sanitized corporately run chain places. Not the case here in my personal experience. Bartender Kat hit all of the ✔s in what you'd expect as a new customer. I will return. Many people might be turned off by the "no frills" first impression. But the honest interaction is what works for us. No facades. What I like.

Hands down the best beer selection in town at the lowest prices you'll find anywhere. They always have a ton of options, lots of taps and a big bottle selection. Always have something new and you can get a growler to go. It's kinda small so if you go during the night life hours it can get loud but for the most part it's a quiet relaxing place to have a drink if you're waiting for the train or are just a craft beer lover on a budget. The staff are genuine, kind hearted people. Honest and friendly, and when they pour they aim for the brim.

This is my favorite down to earth bar to hang out in Ambler. The bartenders are all great and attentive and the owners are amazing! I definitely recommend this bar if your hanging in Ambler for a fun night!

Been meaning to write this review. 31 is the BEST bar ever. Awesome bartenders, cheap drinks and amazing down to earth People inside. Darts is a major plus too.

Probably the friendliest bar in the area. Fun people: bartenders and patrons. Awesome selection of all kinds of beers on tap. Jukebox, and electronic darts. The free secondhand smoke is a plus. Ask bartender Dave to pull your chain. :)

We got in a few hours at this bar in our town! It was quite pleasant. The food and music and last but not please, THE PEOPLE were great!!! My 2 cousins and Uncle.

Always an awesome selection here. Huge tap list which regularly changes for seasonal and new brews, and a massive bottle selection. Staff is always friendly and quick with service. A great local spot for some fun times.

Always a fun time here. Fast service and very large beer selection. The people are friendly and the atmosphere is that of a "Cheers". Once you come back a few times, everyone knows your name!

Meandering about ambler one night and i thought to myself "Where could one find an adult watering hole that has a truly diverse crowd yet friendly and welcoming?" As if God himself came down from the heavens himself and showed me the way i found myself in front of a structure. Minimalistic front yet more appealing then most. Small watering hole within walking distance of the train station and the rest of Ambler's night life. Decent draught beer and food selection, and little else - just what it says on the tin.

Was there on my birthday/vacation of march 2016 and a had a blast the staff is very accommodating and the atmosphere is very inviting as a chef I am very impressed with this venu and the wings were out of this world as well as the food on the menu I would recommend bar 31 to anyone it will be more enjoyable when I move back to ambler borough in march of 2018 then I will be a lifetime customer

Great people and atmosphere. Smoking is permitted inside. Extremely friendly staff. Everyone has a good time here.

Full service bar, with basic drinks, beers on tap& wine.

Love it here people are loud towards the weekend but it's quite and the bartenders are nice on weekdays... Also it's more of a pub atmosphere than a bar

After hearing about this local legendary watering hole for years I was finally privileged enough to make a pilgrimage to the mecca that is bar 31. God bless this place.
