These are the loveliest people you can trust with your car. John the owner is an absolute legend and knows more about cars them most. He will not rip you off, will tell you exactly what is wrong with your car and will tell you to save your money on things you don’t need. I bring all my vehicles to him and honestly is the best mechanic in the Poconos, extremely knowledgeable and honest. His prices are some of the fairest in the area. He is not a throw parts at it mechanic he diagnoses the problem and will not change a part unless he is absolutely sure it needs to be replaced.

Lovely staff, treated everyone who walked through the door with respect and a friendly attitude. They helped me out when I was in a bind, on the way to a family event. Diagnosed the issue with my car and fixed it immediately at a fair price.

Best shop around. They took the time to fix a complicated issue the right way very satisfied will use them in the future.

I needed help installing two new tires ASAP. I called the shop and was greeted by a gentleman who told me that I could come in as a walk-in. The very next day, I headed over there early in the morning. I was greeted by both a gentleman and a woman who were both very friendly. My car was serviced and I was out of the shop in an hour. The prices were reasonable and the service was great. I will be coming back to get more work done on my vehicle. I recommend this shop.

Needed a used tire to get back on the road Memorial day weekend. Was taken care of very quickly even though they were already working on other cars. Price was great.

A coworker of mine had suggested this place so I went to check it out. Went there around 8:20am for a vehicle inspection. The men there were very nice and helpful, and I was out in no time! Inspection was good(save for the wiper blade) and I will definitely be coming back again!

They did a great job putting my tires on and balancing them. They held my rims for several days as my car was in the shop, and their patience was a blessing. Will be coming back for my tire related needs.

Helpful and honest people! Very understanding and reasonable. They won’t ever try to oversell to you or “fix” things that don’t need to be fixed. No BS which is getting rare to find in auto shops these days. Very knowledgeable and capable mechanics. They also have used cars as well. Very honest and upfront about everything that they do here, and their handiwork and repairs are always second to none.

I had work done at Able Auto of over $1500. I like that the place is super clean for an auto repair company and honestly they did amazing work. My car is driving like new. Smooth! Where I had an issue is the customer service. It could have been far better. I was left waiting for well over an hour and that was very upsetting. But outside of that, these guy's did 5 star quality work.

my husband first had work done on his car here and he was more then impressed with their knowledge and friendliness. About a week later i had my car towed to their shop...thank god i came to them! They fixed my car at a great price!! Customers for life!! Thank you!

I love these folks I live in Boston Massachusetts when my son needs work done on his suv I call they are very accommodating and nice no nonsense repairs extremely reasonable and very honest I've never had an issue with any of the work done at able I wish there were more mechanics like this available that thre a wonderful find for me.

I have been a customer at able auto for over 4 years now my son has also had a number of things repaired over this time on 3 different vehicles I could not be happier with a mechanic or price for the repairs performed I've never once had to return for an issue or have never blocked at this price I find them to be good honest more than fair business owners and would recommend anyone in need of an auto repair try his services I can most certainly say you would be hard pressed to find better workmanship or s prices at most places !!! John has always treated me and my son more than fair

Able Auto is hard working and honest. Very few auto shops in the country are trustworthy. The owner will tell you exactly what is wrong and present affordable options. Obviously affordability will depend entirely on the make and model of vehicle and availability of parts.
His shop does not try to cheap out, cut corners, hold vehicle hostage or say something is broke when it's not. I'll add that people with the negative comments on the site probably don't understand cars, availability of parts or have an expensive vehicle beyond their life style. I made that mistake once with BMW. The length of time to make repairs can very because there are other cars being worked on. The work is thorough so don't expect poor Walmart style in and out quality. Quality takes time.

I love that they're upfront and honest.. Our tow truck guy recommended them. They respect their female customers and don't try to cheat them like a lot of mechanic shops usually do. They are fair in pricing and ALWAYS do a fantastic job! Highly recommended!!

I only wish I had been able to spend more time there. They were so honest that I was in and out in 10 minutes. I probably would’ve struggled to find what was wrong with my car. And I know other mechanics would’ve said the repair was more costly and lengthy.

Lost the brakes on my truck while camping out near Tobyhanna PA. They got me in quickly and did a great job replacing the brake line and caliper. The price was fair and the staff are very friendly. My thanks, recommendations and 5 stars to them.

Went in for a flat tire, received quick service with a great price! Shop is one of the best I've seen, the waiting area accommodates the wait time with tv and a coffee station. The place to go for any car related issue!

I had a low pressure tire reading on a long drive by myself and randomly called to ask for help. She told me to come in and they checked air - added air and I was on my way! Thankyou so much!!
