Otter Lake Camp-Resort

The best memories were made camping here as a child. I now have the thrill of bringing my own son. Nothing has changed. It's still a magical place!

We were turned on to otter lake by friends of ours once we bought our camper. This place is great. I don't think there is a site in there that I would be disappointed with. If you don't book at midnight on November 1st good luck getting a lake front unless someone cancels. For us though a nearby playground (4) for our littles keeps us happy. There are many activities offered and both the lake/beach and two pools are well maintained. The firetruck is always a big hit and the people are very friendly. A great spot in the Poconos. I will say there is no easy way to get there especially when towing .

This campground is easily one of our favorite places to stay. We have been going here since the beginning of our families camping journey. From Tents to popup to travel trailer you cannot go wrong here. Our most recent stay was on site #LF16 we do love the waterfront sites. The site was gravel and fairly level only little adjustment needed. The sites here are nice and roomy with a picnic table and fire ring and lake access. Otter Lake hosts many fun activities Archery, Softball, Soccer, Bingo and so much more. We like the hot tub and sauna. For those camping with furry family members there is a plethora of chipmunks, squirrels, and birds to watch. We camped at Otter Lake Camp Resort in a Travel Trailer. Book Early

I’ve never left a 5 star review but Otter Lake Campground is amazing. Check in was easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The campground is very clean. We had a lake front site and couldn’t believe the size of it. It was very spacious. The indoor pool is a great feature. There is so much to do. Restrooms and showers were very clean. 5 days wasn’t enough. You can’t go wrong with this place. We’ll be back.

Beautiful place with wonderful staff and clean sites. Definitely a great family location with lots to do on site and many trails for hiking. The fishing is amazing and the events are so much fun. Definitely somewhere we will be coming back to camp again.

We absolutely love this campground. We go every fall and book a lakefront site. The view of the lake and trees is beautiful. The office and grounds staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoy going to the indoor pool and hot tub on those chilly fall days. The sites are a good size and fairly level, they are kept clean. The facilities are maintained and cleaned. We would go all the time if it was closer to us, but it is still one of our favorite places to camp.

September 2023, This was our 2nd time camping here. Easy fast check in. Large gravel site. Lake front site had a path to the lake. Great fishing, very nice clean bath house and showers, indoor pool and hot tub. Security at the gate. 30 /50 electric, water, septic and cable tv. Nice camp store. I absolutely recommend camping here.

This is a campground. It's for tents and RVs. Probably the best in Pennsylvania. Beautiful lake you can fish, take your small kayak on, small beach. Go around it on a bike or take a long walk. Excellent staff. Heated indoor pool with 2 jacuzzi, lots of playgrounds . Excellent place to spend time with family and friends.

This place was great. I met new people at the public activities every day and the lake was beautiful. Going to try and come back next year! Amazing camp site!

We stayed at Otter Lake for 5 days and felt the sites were nicely spaced and semi private with the trees between sites. While this campground culture wasn’t really our thing (super, super busy with activities and folks walking and riding bikes all over). I can see if it is your thing you’d love it here. We prefer a bit quieter nature type of place, although while we were at our site, we didn’t feel it was too loud or obtrusive. We did enjoy paddling in the lake and the nature trail around the lake. We also enjoyed the nice pickle ball courts. The customer service we received from Karen in the front office was exemplary! We had some packages and forwarded mail get delayed which caused them the arrive after we left. I was really concerned about it but Karen put me at ease right way! She said no problem, we will call you when they arrive and we will forward them to you. She did just that and all packages and mail arrived just in time before we left our next location. So thankful for such wonderful staff that will go above and beyond to help travelers out! Thanks Otter Lake!

First time camping here ...with my cousins..i have 4 years old at home I didn't bring him with me...because I didn't know this place is really family friendly...next year coming back with him...love it...

Site LF1 is a great site with its own dock for fishing and plenty of space. The campground itself is a great destination with many activities for the kids and the adults too! Beautiful sunsets over the lake are a plus!

Love the indoor pool and hot tub, the walking trail around the pond.

Awesome campground, we have a big family and there was plenty for all of us to do. Plus, being able to bring our dog is such a huge plus. We had a great experience.

Took the canoe out right from our camp site and paddled over to the beach area where I taught my dog to swim 🧡 (went in September and had the beach to our selves). Clean facilities. Only trail is around the lake.

We had heard so many wonderful things about Otter Lake Camp, so we got all the family together and made it our family camping trip this year. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Staff, atmosphere, cleanliness, activities, food and don't forget the Peacocks! We are now committed to making this camp our yearly gathering for family.
