Sortino's Italian Kitchen

Love going here for a date night. We usually sit at the bar and request Mia. She always gives amazing service and the drinks are always awesome. She always gives great recommendations as well and makes it more of an experience than a dinner. The ambiance is nice and gives an Italian feel with the music and colors. The kitchen is open and it’s interesting to be able to see inside. The cannolis are a great dessert to end with.

Absolutely outstanding and amazing homemade recipes and blends of flavors in this food. Really is authentic and we weren't expecting to find such a great blend of homemade style and flavor at a resort restaurant. Overwhelmed and really impressed by the amount of food you get and really looking forward to our leftovers. Lol. Great family restaurant!!

This place is a must for me and my family whenever we are in town. The food is amazing and the staff is extremely friendly with great service. We had Cat as our server and she was not only knowledgeable about the menu when we had questions but was very kind and brought us our food in a timely manner. Will definitely be dining here again and if you haven’t tried it you should!

Cat was fantastic when we stopped in on 12/9! We had the calamari and a white personal pie with spinach and extra garlic. Both were delicious!

If you are in Kalahari you need to try this out. Although most of the food was good however the best part of the food was their garlic bread 🥖
Exceptional service made our day. It’s on 2nd F inside the resort. Lots of options and icecream for kids.

We arrived around 6:45pm, without a reservation. The hostess asked if we were celebrating any birthdays or celebrations, which impressed us. We sat about 10 minuzes and then we were seated.
As we were shown our table,we passed the desert section in front. OMG!!! So much deliciously looking treats. It was hard to order dinner when my stomach wanted sweets!
Sortino's restaurant was 2/3 full with diners. The atmosphere was fun and light, and we fit right in having two children and two adults with us. The kids got a coloring sheet with two crayons, which pleased our table! There were two or three table bussers and the wait staff each has 4 or 5 tables, so we were well taken care of.
The entire staff was kind and worked together. I saw different associates taking food out to other tables, which ensured everyones dish arrived hot! There were 6 birthdays the dining staff sang within the hour and 15 mins we were at this lovely establishment.
We ordered the spaghetti and meatball kids meal and the garlic cheese bread, before realizing the restaurant starts each table off with a garlic Asiago loaf of bread and a rosemary Asiago dipping oil. The kids size dinner had a 4inch round meatball and a great sized portion of spaghetti. This was the first full meal the kiddos ate. We were nearly full when our dishes arrived.
Pictures include garlic cheese bread, pasta mafia, stuffed ravioli and stuffed shells. We also tried the cannoli...omg imwas it delicious! This was a true authentic cannoli made with ricotta instead of cream cheese. Absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend! Sortino's is wonderful for children and adults of all ages! Please take time to visit the bathrooms! You will NOT be disappointed!

Let me start by saying that the service was more than we could’ve asked for. We were a party of 3 - myself, sister & nephew and we were lucky to have had Demond as our server. Completely went out of his way to make our experience exceptional. Thank you !

We had a fabulous time here! Our waiter was kind and very attentive. Food was really good. My only issue was the pricing but you need to figure that’s what you get for eating in the park. We were so hungry we only took pics of the dessert! Definitely worth a visit if you have kids. Also, the bar was very nice! Make sure to make reservations! At 1 pm they only had reservations for 9pm.

My wife and I had dinner at the Sortino's - Pocono Manor and we were very impressed with the service we received. It was our first time at the hotel and dining at the restaurant. The reception and other staff were very pleasant, but the person who really made us feel welcomed and comfortable was Mia, their Bar Lead. She went above and beyond with providing excellent service. From the time we were placed at our table, Mia was there every step of the way, with her genuinely friendly, engaging and warm personality. When it was time to order our meal, Mia was also very helpful, as she was able to make suggestions for substitutions which were right up our alley and made our meals palate pleasing and thoroughly enjoyed. Still, to top it off, her awesome drink mixing skills added that extra bang to our meals, non-alcoholic "virgin" options, just the way we like it.

Of course, during our meal, Mia stopped by at comfortable intervals to check-in, just to see if we were satisfied with the meal or needed anything; and as it was my wife's birthday weekend, Mia and her team swung by to give a brief group birthday  cheer with a complimentary treat and birthday candle.

People, we were so pleased with the service, we had to invite Mia's supervisor over to sing her awesome staff some praises. Supervisor Christina Walter of course, also turned out to be very pleasant and engaging. She welcomed the compliments regarding Mia, gave helpful tips/information, and encouraged our return to the resort. Mia and Christina, if there were always people like you whenever we dined out, we'd be broke from eating out all the time. Promotions are in order!

It was an absolute pleasure having Justin assist us during our visit. His kindness and eagerness to accommodate all of our needs truly enhanced our experience. Both the service and the food were exceptional. My friend and I were delighted to celebrate our birthdays there, enjoying not only the delicious food but also the exquisite desserts.

Absolutely AMAZING! i’ve never written a review in my life but I HAD to about this place. Our server, Justin, was amazing! After noticing a bunch of pictures on the wall, he answered all of our questions and told us the beautiful story of the original restaurant owners. The service was incredible, we waited 10 minutes max for our food and everyone was extremely friendly! Justin was always checking in and after our meal, boxed up our food for us. The host, Demond, gave us a tour around and we looked at the pictures hanging around the walls that told a truly inspiring, unique, and beautiful story!

We always have such a great experience when we visit. From the hostesswas very sweet about my gluten free accommodations to our waiter Roman, we have had him before and it is always a pleasure.

We had dinner on 4/9/24. While my wife's eggplant parmigiana was dry (as it was overcooked), my Chicken Marsala, and the kids's spagetti/meatballs & pizza were all very good. Our waiter, Demond, was over-the-top friendly. Even when my son accidentialy knocked over his drink, all we got were glowing smiles and a willingness to help. Great job Demond - likely one of the best waiters we've had the pleasure of working with in recent memory.

Demond was a fantastic server. I took my girlfriend here and her 2 year old son, for her birthday; Along with my two kids. I thought the food was VERY well portioned. But the real star was the attentiveness to detail from our server…I hope I spelled his name correctly

Went to Sortinos for a walk in dinner while at Kalihari resort with my sons. Not a busy night at all. Kitchen was great and accommodating with orders. Our Server ”#404557” Lawrence was phenomenal and made the meal!! He was great at offering menu suggestions, had great insight on wine selection and was super attentive and brought food and refills without even asking. He offered boxes for leftovers and cleared plates almost as fast as we finished without rushing us at all. Servers like him are exactly what a business needs to get repeat customers. Keep up the great work!

Food was delicious. My son who is picky about tomato sauce asked for buttered noodles and sauce on the side of his meatball which came out perfectly. My other son’s chicken carbonara and my steak carbonara were delicious and perfectly cooked. I definitely would recommend Sortinos for any family staying at Kalihari that likes Italian food.

Chica-a-chica-a boom chicken bit too much on the marinara good overall .chicken marsala was great 👍

Sam was our server and she was fantastic, very engaging, perfect recommendation as it was our first time dining there my dinner was the "Seafood al Diavolo" , my son even loved his little kiddies meal. I will surely be back when I visit next time to Kalahari. SORTINO'S thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

Experience was beyond expectations, the food was tasty but the star of the show was how good the service is, Demond was attentive, friendly, and just overall great, thank you so much for the great service!

Spaghetti carbonara was SUPERB, we are Italian eaters and from the city, to say it was delicious is an understatement.. dinner here was two nights in a row, however the chicken parmigiana wash least favorite .. the sauce Didn’t do it for me..

My family and I have a great time!! Food and ambience were awesome! Dessert to die for! But service was amazing Demond was so attentive and nice! Thank you
