Excellent homemade ice cream in a bunch of flavors! Super friendly and excellent prices.

The ice cream here is delicious! The portion sizes are very large. I always order a small, and it comes in a cup about the side of a Solo cup filled up past the top. I'm a huge fan of the mint chocolate chip and bubble gum flavors because they taste just like ice cream from a shop near my hometown I had as a child. The interior is dated, but some like the feel of it because it shows the history of Sunset Ice Cream. However, as far as I know it's cash only.

This is perhaps the best ice cream anywhere at a bargain price (Creamy ice cream)! Real half gallons with 50 flavors!

Cute little ice cream shop and the staff is always super friendly. My best friend and I used to stop by here once a week when we would get off of work. The ice cream and shakes are delicious and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

I'm not sure who the young lady was that was working by herself tonight May 15th 2021, But I just wanted to say she was doing and excellent job. Especially since she had a line out the door. She was fairly quick on getting everyone's orders. As a retail employee myself who works in a grocery store just down the street from here. I know the spot she was in tonight myself. I had to run a whole grocery store section myself. From one Retail employee to another THANK YOU!!!

The ice cream has always been amazing. The inside is spotless. The people behind the counter are friendly. The photos on the wall are great reminders of good ole days. A small cone has about a pint of ice in it for about $2.50USD.

My parents used to take me to the old location for I've cream when I was little. I grew up going to Sunset as often as possible. I moved around for 12 years and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't find anything even close. I moved back and it's better than I remembered. Still the same amazing service and the best I've cream I've had.

We have been stopping here on the way to Seneca lake for many years. I guess they closed and reopened since the last time, but they have kept the same fabulous experience. There is nowhere else in the world to get a teaberry ice cream cone the size of your head for three bucks!

Stopped in on our way home to Canada. Incredible value, great service by the owner, ice cream was delicious. Had a birthday cake milkshake and devoured it whole.

We asked for small cones of ice cream, received enormous portions! Glad we didn't get the large, because the ice cream was fantastic and the kids would have eaten it all and gotten stomach aches!

They had such tasty ice cream, and gave large portions! For a great price! The inside was so inviting and it was just a nice place to go to.

Sunset has been my favorite since i was little. I absolutely love the banana splits and pruces are very reasonable compared to other ice cream places.

The sweetness I needed today. 2 big scoops of icecream for $1.85. Where else do you get quality icecream for that price?
