First time to this place for dinner. Great service, great food
The owner actually came by our table 2 times to ask how our food was. You don't see that kind of service anymore. Highly recommended we will be back.
Prime rib was awesome. Gourmet baked potato.

Fantastic food and service. We both had the smash burger special, with a huge portion of fries and great tasting burger! Been here several times and keep coming back but tonight's meal was definitely the best yet!

Great food, great service even when they're short handed. The patio and being able to eat out there, was a great atmosphere. Kid and family friendly, even a kids menu. Large portions for a great price! Nice large parking area. During the day there's a buy, sell, and trade antique shop on the same site Also, dessert on the property. Ice cream, they have their own creamery on site. I highly recommend the Nippenose Tavern!

Good food, great service and comfortable atmosphere! I would highly recommend! I had the buffalo chicken flatbread and hubby had prime rib cheesesteak.

Great food had the prime rib cheese steak it was great! Bartender was very helpful. I was there with my family and they want to go back again!

The prime rib was good but seemed to be cooked more like a regular ribey steak than prime rib.

Great food!! Great drinks!!! Great atmosphere, inside and out on the patio!!!! Lisa is so funny and runs her butt off, Becca is sooo sweet, Ray, well he's ok🤣. Just go, you won't regret it.

Came here for the first time today. The burger was cooked perfectly at medium rare as asked. The bartender/waitress was very nice as well. If we are ever back in this area we would definitely stop at the tavern again. Unfortunately the antique shop was extremely high priced.

Great dinner at the Nip. Guys had the special, prime rib. The girls had burgers with beer batter fries. Everything was delicious. Owners even stopped by to make sure we had a good meal.

Haven't been there for years, just happened to think about going. Had a great meal. Good service. Bonus was they had live entertainment on Sunday evening...had a blast. We'll be back!🤠

Food was good, service was great. Had a waitress that was very nice, very attentive, and great personality. Atmosphere was family friendly in dining room and seemed pretty relaxed at bar also, 8:00 Friday night. Will definitely go here again.

This place is awesome! Stopped in here for a bite and a brew and was not disappointed at all!! Wings were some of the best I’ve had in years, and the burger was perfectly done. Beer was cold and the staff was beyond helpful.

Excellent Prime rib! I get over, every chance I can get!
Lucky the Prime Rib special is Friday and Saturday nights!
So no force in being there on the same night.
Burgers are Delicious, as well!

Have been wanting to make the trip for awhile. And it didn't disappoint. Had a very good dinner, nice staff, and enjoyable atmosphere.

Excellent off the the beaten path. Keeping the setting in mind the service was excellent and the setting is perfect if you are looking to escape just a little bit. Games of skill and a plethora of wit abound in this tavern on the hill just out side town.
