McCarthy Tire Service

Very good service for car inspection. They were running a little behind but once my car got in, it was quick. Nice clean area to sit if you have to wait for your car as well. Their tires are very good quality as well if they are needed to be replaced on your vehicle. Very good customer service, highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing!! I wished I lived closer to. I forget the gentleman’s name that helped me but he was incredible. I had a blowout on the highway. I went to Discount Tire, two Chevy dealership and a Mavis shop. None had my tire size in stock. McCarthy also didn’t have my size. However, the gentleman picked up the phone a found a warehouse that had one in storage. He arranged for someone to drive to that warehouse, which was 20-30 minutes one way, pick up the tire so that I may get back one the road. I’m truly grateful for his support.

Most of the reviews are about service techs or a shop. I would like to acknowledge Jay Rikoskie at 901 for going above and beyond when it comes to being a warehouse manager. I put a pick in for 20 tires in the morning and by the afternoon before our trailer arrived in Reading the 20 tires I picked in the morning were on our trailer. He is the unsung hero of McCarthy Tire and he and his crew of 2 deserve some recognition! Jay, you make my job easier when it comes to getting the salesmen what they need to keep their customers rolling!!! Thank you Jay, Taylor and Jethro for all your help!!!!

I can not begin to talk about the team at this location... Me and my mother were driving through PA from VA on New years Eve ( places starting to close down ) . I noticed a screw in our front tire with a slow leak. I went to a place that a gas station had recommended, they said the wait is 1.5 hours .. I call these guys or should I call them angels. They said come right in we can take care of you right away... We went over and experienced the most hospitable, warm and inviting folks... really felt like family as if they have know us locally. They took our car , took care of the repair and went way beyond the regular service with checking the other tires and testing to make sure all the tires held their pressure. they brought the car and said you're ready to go.. Happy New year... amazing amazing service. this experience will stay in our mind and hearts for years to come . we have not stopped talking about our experience. thank you , thank you for that day. You have no idea how much it touched our hearts .

I found McCarthy Tire when my mechanic (who I delt with for many years) Eric, joined their team. They make me feel like my business is important to all of them. They are friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

Love this place! They are very honest, straightforward and hardworking! Honestly the only mechanics I would trust in Pennsylvania to touch my car. They aren't like other mechanics that are overpriced and fix one thing to mess up another purposely. These mechanics do a great job! Reasonable pricing and wonderful job!

Not a bad word to say about this Family business. Kind, courteous, respectful and caring. From the carwash to the tire service department, you will never meet a finer set of people. I'm saddened by the lose of the Father because he set the tone to treat people with respect. One day many years ago, he picked me up with his grandson in the car, as I was limping to cross the street from an auto accident. Becoming homeless, fordging my way to Church. This great man simply asked can I give you a ride? I took the ride to church. Before getting out of the car, I said, one day when I get back on my feet, I'll remind you of this day. I recovered, went back to work, earned my position as a supervisor. I would see him in passing aways saying hello. One Christmas eve I waked to his office to tell him of this jester of kindness and how it impacted my life. He gave me dignity, when I had lost everything. Respect to a poor soul, to this day has great love for this man and his business. RIP Mr McCarthy. may the angels continue to watch over your FAMILY and those around them. These guys are good drove in my only complaint was when I got home the name on the side of tires was upside down they were Jonny on the spot to fix and they also showed me how to fix problem due to it may happen again Serv guy got in pulled forward untill lettering was right side up again I'm so relieved after paying good money I'd like to show everyone my tires name
