My beautiful solitaire engagement diamond has been updated by Wayne Van Scoy at Van Scoy Diamond Mine. It has been mounted on my anniversary band surrounded by a beautiful diamond halo. It is the perfect gift from my husband in celebration of our 30th wedding anniversary! My rings were dipped in rhodium and changed from gold to silver which can also be reversed. My husband purchased my engagement ring from here in 1988. I haven't been able to wear my Original wedding band or engagement ring In years.... They were dirty not my current size and the prongs were damaged. I brought my original receipt into Wayne on Munday street and I was thrilled with the service, professionalism, and work that was done to make my rings beautiful again. They were repaired resized and my original band was welded to the diamond engagement rain. Fantastic service!! I would highly recommend going there they make you feel special!

My fiancé and I had a really great experience shopping and picking out my engagement ring here. One of the staff sat down with us and explained everything there was to know about quality and picking a diamond. We never felt pressured or harassed as we did at some other retailers in the area. You could tell that they take a lot of pride in their work. They are also able to clean your jewelry on the same day without sending it out which is a huge relief! Good quality and customer service. Can’t wait to pick out my wedding band as I know it will be the same experience.

I noticed yesterday that one of my prongs was loose on my engagement ring and the diamond was moving around. I brought it to Van Scoy to see if they would be able to fix it. (I will admit that I briefly considered using pliers to bend it back myself, but thankfully decided against it😅). Wayne thoroughly inspected my ring to make sure he could make the repair and was able to have it back to normal AND cleaned in less than an hour.

My husband and I both got our wedding bands at Can Scoy. A few years down the road I also got my second band from them. A little out of the way for me but I still feel like its worth it when your talking about diamonds and a piece of jewelry you wear every day of your life. My husband got my engagement ring from another jeweler in Vestal, NY and to make along story short the ring I was proposed with wasn't the same ring I was given after it was returned to be sized. What sold me on Van Scoy was that they do everything in house so your items NEVER leave the building. I'll agree that some of the employees are more pleasant then others but to be honest I've worked in retail before and I wasn't pleasant everyday either. All in all I'll go back and I'd recommend it to others as well. They stand behind their product!

Side note but important. When taking all three rings to be cleaned at Van Scoy I noticed when I got home one of my side diamonds from my engagement ring was missing (came loose because Comfort and Sons in Vestal screwed it up when having it sized). I called Van Scoy they apologized and found the diamond in their cleaning machine. They repaired and replaced the diamond free of charge even though the engagement ring wasn't even there in the first place. Amazing!

Excellent customer service. Wayne took the time to educate us on different facets of sizing, cleaning and proper settings. He was great!! We will never go back to a chain jewelry store ever again!! We found the perfect engagement ring!

I recently bought an engagement ring here and I cannot thank them enough! The service was above and beyond. They take the time to get to know you and really get an understanding of how you want your special day to be.
I had a general idea of what type of ring and stone I wanted, it was their customer service that matched the picture in my head to the ring that is now on my fiance's hand! This is the second time we have been there and the people were great both times.. The first time was for an appraisal and cleaning. They were so nice then, we came back to buy a gift. They took time to help us get exactly what we wanted. In the end, even though we had only been there twice, we felt like they considered us long time valued customers. We will be going back.

Your ring cleanings are free after purchasing your ring from Van Scoy, and when your walking in even only for your free cleaning they treat you with the upmost respect!
