I just finished reading all of the one star reviews on this page and I can't imagine how people can have such a different experience than I did. We decided to do an addition early in January this year and when looking into heating the room, we decided we wanted to see if we could afford to put in a gas fireplace. After going to three different fireplace stores, we chose Woody's based on their professionalism, patience with us, as we had many questions, and working within our budget. We did not find that they were any more expensive than the other two stores we had visited. So right from the beginning I was very impressed with everything that they did and the way they treated us. In addition, because of several delays with our contractor, we had to reschedule our fireplace installation twice and I never felt like Woody's was annoyed with our changing the dates. They always accommodated our construction schedule. I waited to do this review until the install happened and we were finally done with the project. So today we finally finished because Mike the owner had to come out to adjust something on our fireplace. Through the past several months I have spoken with Lisa on the phone and Mike himself and every single time they have gotten back to me either via email or with a phone call and we're extremely professional and kind. I told Mike today how impressed I was with this part of our project. Truthfully it was the only thing that went smoothly. I would highly recommend Woody's fireplace for anyone looking for a gas fireplace or other type of stove. There really wasn't even one aspect of the job that I could complain about. All was done with excellence and we are very satisfied customers!

The absolute opposite of my experience with another local fireplace store.

They are knowledgeable, friendly and so helpful. When I had to pick up parts for an install, they had everything in stock. Even though I had never done business with them before, they applied a courtesy discount. Something they honored a second time when I picked up another item.

Installed two gas fireplaces about 6 mo ago which went really well. (No giant mess like I was expecting.) Installers were friendly, knowledgeable, tidy, & explained everything before leaving, with a don’t hesitate to call with questions. Keith was back yesterday with Tyler for a minor issue with one fireplace. Nice guys & same as before, excellent service, checked, adjusted, & cleaned “both” fireplaces. I would definitely recommend Woody’s!

When we were unable to get a response from any of the alaska stoker stove companys, on an issue we were having , i took a chance and called Woodys, they could not have been more helpful. They gave of thier time and helped diagnose our issue and was able to get us the part we needed. Great customer service. Thank you !

We had a Jotul GI635 gas fireplace insert installed by Woody's on January 4, 2022. We could not be happier. The installation team was very professional, and when they left our house was cleaner than when the arrived. We ordered our stove on December 2, 2021, and despite being told by the company that supply issues might delay delivery until April, we got a call in late December saying that Woody's had managed to obtain our chosen product from another dealer. When we went to look at inserts we were welcomed into an incredible showroom by the owner and founder, and after giving him our fireplace measurements, he showed us a variety of products that would fit our needs. We picked one out, only to discover it was much higher than our budget, and without dropping a beat, he showed us three more options at lower prices. We found a product we love, at a price we could afford. The service we received from selection through installation was excellent.

Mike and his team did a fantastic and thorugh job on the recent installation of my Blaze King Ashford 25 wood insert. Mike's team excelled my expectations with their professionalism and knowledge and exemplary service. Looking forward to them coming back and installing my custom chimney cap.

Bought a coal stoker from Woody’s, and coal several times. Like the stove a lot, price was reasonable, service was good. I installed myself, and spoke to the owner directly a few times the day I installed with questions. Surprised to see the bad reviews about the service.. I’ve never had a problem getting in touch with them, and when I’ve had questions (especially the installation) the owner took ample time to help..

I purchased a Fireplace insert and a freestanding stove for my house at Harveys lake in 2013, they did a great and very professional job, I had a slight problem and they took care of it promptly!!! they look beautiful!!! I would highly recommend Woodys!!
