MISSION BBQ

As we had never been here before we were unsure how to order. We sat at a a table and a waitress advised that we needed to go to the desk to order.
At the desk a really friendly guy explained all items on the menu boards before taking our order.
I had the turkey sandwich with fries and my partner had the brisket sandwich with fries, slaw, and grandmas sweet potatoes.
Drinks were included in the combo meal and there were plenty of options to choose from.
The food was fantastic, the meat really seasoned well with an in-house spice rub and it was all incredibly tender. Six types of sauces were available at the tables to use.
Overall the food was great, the atmosphere was typical American, the service was super friendly. I would recommend everyone try this place if you love your meat and want some great food.

Absolutely Amazing! This is seriously the BEST BBQ I have ever eaten. I got the lean brisket sandwich and some turkey with french fries. It was super flavorful and moist. I am usually not a huge fan of BBQ sauce but once again the best BBQ sauce I ever had! I tried all their mild sauces and the white sauce which had a mild kick. All where very flavorful and not too vinigrey. My husband got the ribs with Mac and cheese. The staff is very welcoming and kind, huge portions for the price, very affordable. We live about 45 minutes away and it's definitely worth the drive!!!

The atmosphere was great. Spectacular and extremely helpful STAFF I tend to be annoying by letting the workers decide what I'm going to eat they had no problem accommodating me. The place was slightly busy, although not left felt forgotten about . 5 stars 🌟 🤩

Great place! Nicholas was taking our order and came out from behind the counter to go over the me u with us! All of the food was great. I was a little disappointed that they do not keep the beef ribs on their menu. I guess I will have to catch them when they are there

As soon as you walk in the door the most beautiful smell in the world and then smiling faces. The employees were polite and friendly which goes a long way with me. I ordered the shredded chicken with a side of mac and cheese and cornbread online. It came with cornbread so I ended up with two pieces which is more than ok. The total came out to a little over $13 and I traveled about 20 minutes to my house before I ate it. The portion is huge and it is absolutely fantastic. I didn’t even need to use the BBQ sauce that was given because the chicken is so flavorful. I am a small person so this food will last me at least 2 days. This place is what restaurants should strive for. High quality food that tastes amazing and doesn’t break the bank! I forgot to take the picture before I ate some, couldn’t help myself.

Some of the best BBQ I’ve had. Great service, friendly staff and amazing food. Different kind of sauces available and sides… will definitely be coming back. I had the pulled pork, brisket and baby back ribs. Ohhhh… so good.

Never have I had a bad meal from Mission. The meats are flavorful, juicy, and so reasonably priced. The green beans with bacon are amazing. I am not usually a fan of chains but their food just tastes so fresh and delicious you don't even know you're eating at a chain restaurant. And you have to try the apple cobbler, even if you don't have room for it. Service is super friendly. Five stars all the way.

The staff was wonderful - super helpful, very attentive, and nice. There is a big selection of meats to choose from - I had the brisket with baked beans and sweet potato. The brisket was really good. I loved the baked beans. The sweet potato was really good. Their corn bread is good also. I like the different selection of sauces. This is a really good place for BBQ.

It was my first time here and it was amazing. Mike was such a great server and helped us out a lot. He even gave us complimentary cards and a desert for our way out. Will be coming back and highly recommend this place

The staff welcomed us as first timers, walked us thru the menu board and took our order. We did the 3 meat combo, enough for 2, and opted for a combo. The meats were cooked perfectly. The cheesy potatoes were amazing and we had a generous plate of hot fresh cut fries. Their recognition and support of veterans is so nice to see.
The friendly manager came by to see how our food was. When we told him it was our first visit, he returned with caramel apple cobblers and coupons for a free sandwich next visit. We travel a lot, and our experience here was top notch! (Wish we lived closer).

Cannot fault this place at all the food was absolutely amazing and the staff were all very friendly and very helpful when two British guys turn up and have no idea what they need to do. You go to the checkout area and order the food and then they told you when it is ready you can either take out or eat in. I opted for the and my partner opted for the turkey. I have never tasted brisket like it. It was very tender and moist and was absolutely amazing. You can choose whatever source you want to put on your food as there are six different types on your table. I also added fries and coleslaw together with a dish called Grandma's sweet potato. The potato dish was a acquired but was a complete surprise and worth adding to. My partner who had the turkey was surprised on how tender the turkey tasted and everything was way beyond what was expected. The staff were all very friendly and were very very helpful. We cannot fault them whatsoever and they are a credit to the company. Please seek this place out if you are in the you will not be disappointed.

Loved the food, it was fantastic. Loved the atmosphere and the old fashioned glass bottled sodas. The service was really great and the place was very clean. The staff was very helpful and kind.

We stopped for lunch and were amazed by the friendliness of the employees. One in particular who walked around the room (wish i could remember her name) was by far the best. She chatted with us and also brought us dessert. She needs to be acknowledged by higher-ups.
The restaurant also sings the national anthem at noon. We were impressed that everyone inside and out stood, removed their hats and some sang along.
Would recommend this military/police/fire friendly restaurant!

Before I mention some great news let me go from the start. On a nice chilly Sunday I volunteer for the Wilkes Barre St Patrick's Day Parade. After the parade I was offered a free sandwich card which later in the week I had the turkey sandwich. By the way I enjoyed it. During the first visit I actually saw a Now Hiring sign so I asked about the opportunity. That night I did the application and on a Tues afternoon I will be starting a new Mission. On Sunday going home from church a man was working on our Mission BBQ truck and we had the chance to know each other. I am looking forward to any Missions that is offered to me. Oh before I forget Mission BBQ is the only restaurant that has everyone stand up for the National Anthem at 12pm. Thank you and God bless the USA

They catered our wedding and WOW! Everyone loved the food and the workers were so sweet! I originally thought it was pricey but they literally set up, serve, clean it all up, left us to go boxes so people can take leftovers, and then cut the cake so I mean I felt like I was also paying for peace of mind and they didn't disappoint. Would absolutely recommend!

My wife and I absolutely loved this place today fast food I’m talking faster then McDonald’s kind service I got the ribs and loaded potatoes it was absolutely amazing they also had all kinds of sauces already at the table and a very nice gentleman was handing out samples offered to take out trays when we were done it was absolutely amazing and the prices were decent we will 1000% be back

We decided to stop in for lunch while visiting family for Thanksgiving. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious. The staff was super tentative and friendly as well. Great place! Highly recommend this establishment!
