Every morning is like XMAS morning when we come downstairs and see our new kitchen! The design and craftmanship is something we could have ever imagined being so perfect. Steve Strauss was our designer and Brian was the installer. Brian was impeccable and never left a drop of dust when he left for the day. Even our cats liked him. Thanks for the great job.

We knew that we had found the right company as soon as we walked into the showroom. The showroom is well laid out with tons of options to look at. After sitting down with the owner Steve, we felt confident that he would design the best kitchen for us. Steve did not disappoint! After coming to our home, taking measurements, photos, and asking a lot of questions, he provided us with five designs. We were then able to pick and choose different options from the various designs. Steve then put it all together in one design. Once we chose our final design, he gave us an estimate for the install date. His estimate was right on time and install started as planned.
The installer Bryan, was a pleasure to work with. He treated our home as if it was his own. I can honestly say that he is true master of his craft. As the days went by and the install progressed, we were more and more impressed with his work. Every day, Bryan gave us updates and filled us in on what to expect for the next day and so on.
Both Steve and Bryan always made themselves available for any questions that we had along the way. I highly recommend using Direct Kitchens for any and all of your home renovations; they are an A+ company with outstanding service and craftsmanship!

The overall experience from meeting with Steve to discuss the work through the whole process of the work being completed was awesome. I had new kitchen counters with tile back splash and vinyl flooring laid throughout the first floor turned out to be excellent. It looks like a new house. I can’t say enough about how pleased we are. The attention to detail was awesome. GREAT JOB!!! Definitely recommend DKD for kitchen, flooring and bathrooms.

Working with the DKD team has been a great and easy experience. From setting up initial meetings with Steve, working through options and coming to final design. To working with Bob (contractor) who organized all the different aspects of the job from electrician to plumbing. Very impressed with overall attention to detail and doing the job right in my old house. All individuals who entered my home were courteous and professional. We are extremely pleased with our beautiful new bathroom!

COMPLETE KITCHEN REMODEL / RENOVATION!

Early this year we decided to renovate our 24 year old kitchen, and after our first meeting with Steve Strauss of Direct Kitchen Distributor, we quickly decided to hire him for the job!
He has a beautiful showroom, and we acquired many ideas from it. He spent quite some time consulting with us to help him understand what we were looking for, including budgeting.

Our kitchen project was a very large one, as the room itself is big and knew we were going to totally gut it! We also decided to rearrange the layout differently from the original, which complicated the project even more. Steve came up with multiple plans, and as we worked through each, he made changes as we asked him to. He was available whenever we needed to meet, either at our home or at his showroom. He is very skilled in designing and composing computerized layouts, and that made it quite easy for us to understand how they would look in our kitchen.

Steve provided recommendations for the electrical work, plumbing, countertops, backsplash, flooring, lighting and appliances, and he coordinated the work for each.

For our cabinets we went with the “Showplace EVO” which is Steve’s Custom Cabinets brand. We chose stained & glazed Cherry Wood, with ebony trim, and it is absolutely gorgeous!! Also, Steve is a distributor for “The Galley Sink”, which comes in different lengths, and he has it installed in his showroom. After giving it a lot of thought, we decided to go for it and WOW are we glad we did!! It’s amazing and we would highly recommend it. You can’t go wrong with a Galley Sink, and you’ll be glad you did!

“Bryan” is Steve’s installer and we cannot rave enough about him! Steve designed the kitchen, and Bryan made it come to life!! His skill and workmanship is absolutely top notch! He is such a nice man and always took time to answer any and all of our questions. When Bryan finished each day he would clean up the room before leaving. It was a pleasure working with both Steve and Bryan!

Great dealing with Steve. Are having an older home's kitchen and bath renovated and they have been able to adjust to all the challenges they encounter. Would highly recommend them if you are considering have work done

DKD has done three remodeling jobs for me. A master bathroom and two kitchens. From the initial design work through the actual remodel and finish work the staff did an excellent job. Steve gives great advice about design ideas and options. Each job ended up being within my initial budget. Their showroom has many choices and great displays.

We decided to remodel our kitchen after 22 years in our home. Steve made the whole process easy and stress free, despite the pandemic. Our new kitchen was up and functional in 2 weeks. We love all the updated features including our pantry with pull-out drawers.

We had gotten an estimate a few years ago but opted for a roof first, so we went back placed our requests and are awaiting new estimate. Dave is great to work with and we enjoyed our experience. So if in market for kitchen or bath update definately visit them soon.

I ordered a Galley kitchen sink thru this vendor and although they ensured that I would get a call once delivery was scheduled, I get an email the day before it was to arrive that it’s on it’s way. Of course it was the day before I’m leaving for vacation and their response was that they couldn’t really do anything but get me the FedEx tracking number and their 800 number and it was basically my problem.

I called FedEx and placed it on vacation hold. When I came back, I saw that it was delivered to the house. When I got there, no sink. When I tracked it, they told me the shipper sent it to the wrong address.

My shipping directions had my correct address. But I told them if the delivery company was using Google Maps, my house is too new and doesn’t come up but if they put in my neighbor’s address it will show up so they go to the right location. Not knowing they’re shipping via FedEx. These guys put my neighbor’s address and totally disregarded my true shipping address!

When one buys a $3K sink, one expects better service.

My warning is if you’re prepared to deal with amateurs-go ahead and hire them. Best of luck!!
