Tyler is one of the most knowledgeable fish and coral enthusiast that I met during my 25 years in the hobby of fish keeping. He's very easy to work with and will always give you the best deal possible. His coral and fish are always top quality.

Tyler's knowledge and expertise outweighs any experience you'll have with someone at a fish/pet store. He is very hands on and is an excellent teacher for how to maintain your aquarium! Great experience! After working with Tyler, the owner, I can't imagine having anyone else help me with my tank.

One of the best experiences I ever had purchasing coral. This was my first time not going to a shop. Sofishticated Aquatics has a awesome selection of corals to purchase. The owner Tyler's knowledge and experience of equipment and care of reef tanks had me go back home and do some adjustments to my tank that made an instant difference in the sound of my overflow and when I take my tank readings. I had intended to go to a couple of different shops in the PA and after talking and learning form Tyler the other shops that I went to were not as impressive as the experience I had at Sofishticated Aquatics. To sum it up, this place is absolutely amazing. They were super knowledgeable about my numerous inquiries I called about and even with me messing up terms and pronunciations, they knew exactly what I was looking for. Even when some of my questions led to fish that they themselves didn’t have in stock at the moment, they were still able to provide me with great information and helping tips in the right direction to find what I was looking for despite it being with other places. I was especially pleased with their positive demeanor over the phone and patience considering I called fairly late in the evening. Honestly, this place is a 10/10 recommendation to anyone looking to purchase fish for an existing aquarium or even just barely getting into the hobby.
