Lackawanna College Environmental Education Center

Leading the way to a sustainable revolution, Lackawanna College's Environmental Education Center is educational and fun. My son and I often hike the beautiful trails and look for local wildlife. The programs are informative and the presenters are super passionate about their topics. Summer camps are the best, the crew gets our kids outside to play and learn about the planet.

LCEEC hosts nature and sustainability programs and walks for all ages. They have 5 hiking trails that vary from an easy .25 mile walk to a harder 1-mile trail. My daughters can't wait to go back to camp every summer! Plus dogs are permitted on leashes!

Everyday my granddaughter and her friend comes home with with wonderful adventure stories. She has learned so much, building a shelter, making a fire and more. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you

I sent the better part of a day here attending a seminar. Everything they showed from solar to wind to reclaiming water was a maybe it works but we haven't tested it fully. Like many things about this technology, they spend someone else money and then test to see if it works.
