Waldo's Tavern

Waldo’s has become my all-time favorite place to get wings! Both boneless and bone in, the flavor selection and taste is superb! I get the xtra mild sauce which doesn’t irritate my heartburn. The crisp is perfect. Waldo’s gives HUGE portions to the point where myself and my partner have to share a meal & we still have leftovers! You get an amazing value for what you’re paying, which is a very affordable price to begin with. The staff is always friendly and attentive, even when the place is packed. The patio is really nice to sit at. They have bands and live music from time to time as well. I can’t recommend Waldo’s enough!

It's hard to beat Waldo's wings. Crispy, juicy, well-sauced, and delicious. 60¢ per wing on Mondays and Thursdays. Plenty of flavors to try, and you can combine flavors to create your own. It can get pretty busy from time to time, but I strongly recommend it for the quality and the value.

You can't go wrong at this tavern. Nice outdoor area, 2 bars and $1 taco Tuesdays!! Joe the bartender keeps it going and is an overall great guy. You gotta swing up Green ridge st and have you a cold one! Wing night Thursday!

I love locally owned businesses and the quality of food they can produce when they make it with love. The staff here always take care of my wife and me when we visit, with consistent and high quality food and drinks every time. It may not look like much from the outside, but this is a place worth stopping at every time you drive past. We enjoy the outdoor bar over the indoor one, unless there's awesome live music playing. The owner, Morgan, puts a lot of work into making sure everyone leaves happy, and she does a great job. The only downside I've found so far is that everything I've tried is so good that I can't bring myself to explore more of the menu, and I've settled into a few favorites - mixing sauces is the exception, with Hot/Captain Morgan, Cajun/Ranch, and Porketta/Ranch being my favorite three combos so far.

Decent spot. Didnt get packed till late on a Sat. But the wings were good, I liked the sauce. The tots however werent edible they were way over cooked. The portions were large and the drinks are fairly priced. I would go back.

Sociable bartenders and fair prices.
I would hope they fix a lot of broken seats though. I fell through one just sitting down.

Don’t judge a book by its cover, we were in town and stopped for some food. They didn’t didnt disappoint, wings were great, best I’ve had in a long time. The price was pretty good and the portions were pretty big. Highly recommend stopping here at least once.

Some of the best wings you'll ever have in the Scranton area! They are delicious! All of their food is amazing!
Their drinks are great & everything is priced well.
Morgan is the absolute best and I cannot wait to come back again!!

The owner is great, the crispy fries are awesome and the wings are actually a decent size for the price. Everything I've had at this bar, food wise was great.

My husband and I go here very frequently, it's our go to when we don't have the kids. The best wings and fries, drink prices are great. Would absolutely recommend.

Great place, awesome bar food! A friend and I went here because we have a thing for local corner bars and honestly this one is in the top 10. They had live music, a small bar area, a sit in bar room, and a separate smoking tent with TV and a fireplace. We ordered bacon wrapped mozzarella sticks which were bomb and I also ordered their 10 pc Captain Morgan wings, and those alone I'll be going back for.

Waldos has some of the best bartenders. Thwy are always attentive to the patrons and are very welcoming... They also have the best wings! If you love wings these are wings u need to taste... spicy and delectable... they leave u wanting more...

Waldo's will always have a great ranking in my book as long as their wings stay phenomenal and the outdoor seating area stays open. The outdoor bar is awesome ,having awesome selections on tap at all times. When the weather is warm they also have Cornhole out back and a couple other things to do outside too. Fantastic place for anyone and everyone(over21) to hang out.

We didnt have a reservation but they let us sit down anyway which was really nice of them! The bartender was knowledgeable and attentive to the tables needs. The outdoor patio is pretty cozy and the food was good too. Highly recommend but call ahead to reserve your spot just in case :)

Waldo's is a nice little small town corner bar where you can go a get drinks, food and have a great time with friends and family. The bartenders are awesome I personally know some of them and they are really great at what they doo. Service awesome!!
